Luxury large 3 bed Ski in Ski out apartment in Les Crosets, Portes du Soleil

The Sundance apartments, built in 2006, have been completed to a very high standard. The apartment has impressive views, enjoyed from 2 full length balconies, with the living room and main bedroom looking out over the Dents du Midi and the other 2 bedrooms towards the mountain and the vast ski area. The nearest lift is 50m away, and centre of the resort is an easy 5min walk, with a supermarket, ski hire shops, and restaurants even closer. The apartment provides spacious, luxury accommodation for a group of 7 - 9 adults. The contemporary interior includes a large living area, with wooden floors, new 43' flat screen TV above a modern glass fronted real fireplace. The granite top breakfast bar has stools looking into the fully fitted open plan kitchen with a large dining table situated alongside. All the bedrooms have plenty of cupboards and wardrobes. There are 3 bathrooms.

About the resort: The Swiss village of Les Crosets, at 1660m, is arguably one of the best access points into the Portes du Soleil ski area but is only a 1.5hr drive from Geneva. The village provides all the required amenities including ski hire, ski school, a supermarket and many restaurants. In addition to the village restaurants there are a number of excellent, typically Swiss, mountainside (ski access in the winter and walking/car access in the summer) eateries. Champery, a chocolate box village, is only a 15 minute drive away. The Portes du Soleil is the largest skiing area in the world with over 650km of piste linking 14 resorts which include Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Chatel, Champoussin, Morgins and Champery. In the summer the extensive walking and VTT (mountain biking) trails keep the mountains open to all. From the centre of Les Crosets the renowned 'Swiss Wall' is only 2 lifts away and the French side only 1 lift. The area caters for all abilities of skiers and boarders.

Best location I've had in Les Crosets so far

I have been to Les Crosets a few times before but this unit is by far the best I have had. It's spacious, modern, magnificent views, warm and it's a 40m walk to the lift. Martin, the property manager (and probably owner) has been very very helpful and responsive. I'd definitely check if this place is available again next time I go.

Fab Apartment

A wonderful apartment, very clean, plenty of space and a very good location. The only negative being that when we arrived there were no basic household supplies of anything at all to see you through your first night, most annoying not a single loo roll in any of the three bathrooms! Especially as the only shop is only open from 8-12, make sure you take a loo roll if staying here! Apert from that we could not fault the place.

Tolles Apartment, wunderbarer Blick, ideale Lage zum Skifahren

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche.Das Apartment hat eine sehr gute Aufteilung, 3 Bäder sind Luxus, alles andere auch sehr praktisch.Für 7 Personen ideal, zu neunt mit dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer ok. Es ist für zwei große Teenager mittelmäßig geeignet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war perfekt.Die Sauberkeit muss unbedingt verbessert werden. Wir haben dies direkt nach Ankunft gemeldet und darauf wurde sofort reagiert. Private und Küchen-Utensilien könnten mal geordnet werden ;-).

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Super Wohnung. Wir waren 6 Personen und jedes Paar hatte ein eigenes Bad. Leider war die Wohnung nicht sauber. Wasserhahn, welcher nach allen Seiten spritzt...Schubladen schmutzig, Angefangen Packungen Esswaren etc..Duvet und Anzüge passten nicht etc..Eine Grundreinigung wäre wohl nötig. Sehr netter Vermieter und auch die zuständige Person gab sich Mühe....

Unter luxuriösem Apartment verstehen wir etwas anderes!

Leider hat dieses Apartment überhaupt nicht unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Es ging los damit, dass die TEL.-Nr., die angegeben war, um die Schlüsselübergabe zu organisieren, eine falsche war. Netterweise rief mich diese Dame, die wohl früher einmal für dieses Apartment zuständig war, später zurück und gab mir die Telefonnummer der neuen Person. Die Betten waren nicht bezogen, das Bettzeug war noch relativ feucht und passte nicht zu den Bezügen, die auf dem Bett lagen. Das Spannbetttuch war viel zu klein. Die Matrazen waren eine Katastrophe. Das Apartment machte insgesamt einen leicht schmuddeligen Eindruck, die Nespresso-Maschine funktionierte nicht, die Gläser in Teilen angestoßen, nicht alle Tassen hatten Henkel, einige Sitzflächen waren verdreckt und dafür einen ziemlich hohen Mietpreis zu verlangen, ist in keinster Weise verhältnismäßig. Eigentlich könnte es ein sehr schönes Apartment sein, aber dafür müsste man einiges Geld in die Hand nehmen und all die oben angegebenen Missstände beheben.

Apartement idéalement situé et spacieux

L'emplacement est idéal, surtout avec des enfants car on est au pied de la piste baby. Ascenseur, grand appartement avec vue splendide sur les dents du midi depuis la salle à manger et la grande chambre. Entrée pratique avec espace rangement et un banc puis une grande pièce à vivre assez cosy. Il y a pas mal d'équipements : caisse de jouets pour petits, choix de DVD, sèche-cheveux, appareil à fondue et raclette, cafetière nespresso, grille pain et tout ce qu'il faut en vaisselle/casseroles. 3 SDB propres et modernes. Le ménage est inclus dans le prix . Les draps et serviettes sont fournis mais c'est à nous de les mettre en place. Attention la balustrade du balcon est très dangereuse pour les petits. On est satisfaits, on reviendra sûrement.

Cet appartement au pied des pistes est magnifique ! Très beaux espaces avec feu de bois et une vue superbe sur les dents du midi. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Je recommande vivement !!!!

Séjour très agréable dans ce luxueux et immense appartement, à l'entrée du hameau des Crosets. L'entrée dans les lieux fut tardive, mais nous avons pu profiter d'un départ tardif, très agréable. Merci à Jeannine et son mari pour l'aide apportée lors de nos petits soucis d'organisation. Merci à Martin de sa réactivité. Vivement revenir aux Crosets, et certainement chez Martin!

Wat een geweldig appartement !

Alles zag er als nieuw uit en het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een grote dvd collectie en Netflix . Het uitzicht was adembenemend en je kon naast het appartement zo op de piste komen. Het appartement is stijlvol ingericht en erg gezellig. Het gebied is in onze ogen minder geschikt voor beginnende skiërs. 1 blauwe piste was goed te doen maar de andere blauwe pistes waren ons een maatje te groot. Wel is het een prachtig gebied ook voor wandelaars .

Very lovely property with amazing views.

An attractive flat with. 3 lovely bedrooms with 3 nice bathrooms. The open plan kitchen and living room was very pleasant, with everything we needed and more. Absolutely fantastic location. 50 metres walk to the slopes and could ski back almost to the front door. The village itself is exceptionally quiet with only a couple of places to eat, but Chez Nellie's almost opposite the Sundance block was very pleasant and the apartment itself has the best view for eating at home.. Disappointingly, we all felt that the otherwise high quality of the apartment was let down by the uncomfortable and tatty lounge furniture which seems to be a reoccurring gripe in the reviews, almost impossible to relax on after a long day skiing. One other major niggle was that the end of the stay was tarnished by a whole list of extra expenses, some of which we did know about and others that were a surprise. The cleaning fee we felt was steep at 175 sf, Swiss tourist tax which I know is unavoidable at 1.80 sf per person per day, Electricity had to be paid as an extra (just plain mean I am afraid) and had we requested bed linen instead of taking our own, that would have been another 20 sf per person per week. We never did find the advertised sauna despite searching the block but I understand that this too would have been an extra. It left us all I am afraid with a touch of that "Ryan air feeling'. An explanation of all the expenses, needs to be much clearer at the point of booking. Despite the niggles however, all in all it was a charming place and we had a nice holiday in a spacious beautifully appointed apartment.

Summer in Les Crosets

Had a family mountain bike holiday. Fantastic views across the Alps and around the area. Chalet was spotless and roomy and a great base for summer activities including zip lining, thermal baths, white water rafting, canyoning and a trip to the goat farm to milk and try the cheeses. Putting your bikes on the chair lifts took the strain out of the mountains. Had a happy but tired family each night tucking into a fondu at Chez Nelly. Looking forward to returning next year!
