Stayed here for a family vacation. There were seven of us. The house is an absolute gem. The location was perfect. Such easy access off of Highway 6 and essentially down the street from Avon in case you needed to go to the grocery store or Walgreens. Equally close to Beaver Creek. There was a very nice gas station and convenience store right at the entrance of the subdivision which came in handy on several nights.The house has a nice flat driveway with easy access and no problems parking even when it snowed hard. The kitchen was immaculate and featured high-end appliances. There was cookware galore, beautiful cutlery, and a pot and pan for every occasion. We easily cooked for the seven of us and were never in need or lackingThe main living room has a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Felt so expensive. The leather couch was extremely comfortable and invited everybody to just be lazy.The hot tub was the highlight. Seemed new. Worked like a charm. We used it every nightThe bathrooms were all extremely well appointed as where the bedrooms. The full size washer and dryer we're made by LG and worked great. Seem like new units.Our hosts were very hospitable and responsive. Communication was prompt. Overall, a wonderful place that made our trip. Would love to stay here again

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this duplex. The main level is so cozy and the views are stunning. It was a great place to have our whole family under one roof.

First let me say that the place is beautiful! Right on a golf course. It was extremely clean. The owners were EXCELLENT with communication. Any issues we had were handled right away. They even refunded some money to us when the hot tub was unusable for a few days. They were very fair. Be aware if you rent here that there is NO A/C in the home. It was VERY HOT in the evenings & early at night in August. They did provide fans, but the one fan in the upstairs front bedroom was broken. The bed frame in that room was broken. The biggest thing to be aware of is that there is NO BATHROOM on the main floor. You have to go either up or down a full flight of stairs. The couch was worn out. The property manager isn’t doing his job. The hot tub was unusable. And this was not a recent problem- it looked long term. We had to request several things through the week that should have been provided. The cleaners were not done till 4:30, even though we asked for an early check in. The cleaners didn’t speak English so this made it very difficult to communicate with them. The check out instructions were lengthy (4 pages) and we all felt that we were being shouted at, as much of it was in all caps & red. I do understand that some people don’t take care of things. But we had never seen such specific & detailed directions. Including when to start the dishwasher & cleaning the kitchen. Even though we had these issues the place was nice & we had a great week.

Fantastic ski vacation for multiple families

One of the best places we have stayed for a ski vacation. Location is not on the mountain but very easy 5 minute drive to Elk or Bear lot. It snowed the whole time we were there so the flat driveway and ability to park 2-3 cars (one in garage) was much appreciated. The house is beautiful and sits right on the golf course so all the kids played for another hour or two in the snow behind the house. The house was very clean and plenty of space for two families. We could have fit three families as originally planned. It has been renovated on the inside and made for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was a nice touch and the location right on the back deck was great. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most nights. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms and hot tub had plenty of towels. The owners were excellent in responding to questions and really cared about our stay. Overall, an excellent stay and we would love to come back.

Family ski vacation

Beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood. Near Vail and Beaver Creek so it’s an ideal location. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely return to the Luxe Vail Valley Retreat no matter what the season.

Great stay near Beaver Creek!

Our stay in Beaver Creek was great! The home comfortably fit our whole group. Beds were very comfortable! The hosts were so sweet and accommodating our group for an early check in and later check out time to fit our flight schedule which we greatly appreciated!It snowed during our stay and plows were prompt to clear the driveway. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and seasonings which made cooking easy. The location was ideal with easy access to Beaver Creek and quick trip to Vail. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Family Ski Trip

The home was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Lots of windows with gorgeous views and well stocked with essentials, which allowed us to start our vacation from the moment we arrived. Our family especially enjoyed the hot tub, wood burning fireplace and comfy sectional sofa in the open concept family room. Having a large gas cooktop as well as an outdoor grill was also a big plus. Multiple ensuite bathrooms gave everyone privacy and allowed us to get ready and out of the house in a timely manner. Lastly, I can't say enough about how responsive and accommodating the hosts were! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We had a great stay at the house for a 40th birthday and it was the perfect house for 11 adults! Well stocked with plates and wine glasses, soap and amenities in the bathroom, clean rooms with comfortable beds and brand new hot tub! Perfect location for Vail skiing and Beaver Creek along with easy access walking to the bus!

Wonderful place to stay!

Our entire family really enjoyed staying here! The house is beautiful and very clean. It had almost everything we could’ve wanted. We loved having so many bedrooms and bathrooms so that everyone had their own space. It was a great location near Beaver Creek and Vail, where we spent our time. We loved the golf course views! Elizabeth was very available and helpful when we had questions. We would love to stay here again sometime!

We had a wonderful stay in this huge duplex right on the golf course that allowed all four of my daughters and their husbands and all grand kids to enjoy a full week of family times, go shopping in nearby Vail and Beaver Creek as well as enjoy Avon’s community. The house was very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, plenty of silverware, cups for 8-10 coffees as well as extras, two high chairs, 2 playpens, and great washer and dryer.

We had a group of 8 and the house, location and accommodations were perfect! Everything about the property and service exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this property for any age group of travelers..it's warm, cozy, spacious and everything is as promised and represented! The owners are very helpful, professional and nice and were genuinely interested that we enjoyed our stay. It couldn't have been better and we will definitely return!

Son’s Wedding Weekend

We wanted a place to stay that my family (5 adults), my brother and his family (2 adults, 3 juniors), and Mom & Dad (83 & 84) could all enjoy! There were 5 separate bathrooms, so many people could get ready for my son’s wedding. The condo was right on the golf course with a hot tub and an amazing view! The kitchen had two ovens, gas burners, and everything we needed. There is a ten person table and then bar seating in the kitchen too. The beds were all comfortable with quality sheets. Plenty of towels too. There are hiking trails right out the door. We had an amazing time! The location was great as we needed groceries and forgotten last minute item from Walmart - 6 min. away. We were impressed with the place and recommend it to others!

Great place, not great guest experience

This is a beautiful home, very comfortable and great for a family of 14 to stay. From a guest experience, however, I cannot rate this five stars. I booked this home through VRBO and asked questions through the site that never were answered. I’ve never experienced a complete lack of response even when a home is managed by a management company. That was the first problem- we needed a pack n play and wondered if we could save ourselves the hauling of one on an airplane- but two emails were left unanswered. There were two pack n plays in the unit- that would have been so tremendously helpful to know. Secondly, the owners accidentally sent a gift basket on day three of our stay, which is a lovely thought, but it was to the wrong person. They apologized by saying we should be glad as we got the better of the two baskets due to the error. So we were going to receive a less than desirable gift basket? Finally, the check out instructions basically yell at you (all caps several times) to clean everything, wipe everything down (including the fridge, bathrooms, countertops, and backsplash). I paid not an insignificant amount for a cleaning fee. The requests for what must be cleaned are too much for the price we paid for a cleaning fee. This was extremely frustrating for my entire family, and several of my family members own more than one vacation home that is rented out. So for us, there were just too many caveats from a guest experience and care standpoint to rate it 5

Perfect for Multiple Families

5 Stars! We had a great spring break staying at this home with multiple families. First, the location was great to ski both Vail and Beaver Creek - so convenient. Where it is situated makes it super quiet and private but also very close to access to the main roads and I-70. Second, the communication with the owners was excellent and so appreciated (including very generous gestures of welcome and thank you baskets during our stay). Third, the layout of the home was great for our group of multiple families from the property accommodating multiple vehicles, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the common spaces, to the bedrooms, to the huge deck with a hot tub of views of the golf course/mountains, perfect after a long day on the slopes. Sleds were even included, which the kids put to good use on the hill behind the house on our day off from skiing. Absolutely book this home - you will have an amazing time.
