We had a wonderful stay. Minutes from the waterpark, great restaurant's nearby, the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tubs were large and plenty of room. The pool felt heated and the hot tubs were hot. We loved having the use of the gas grills near the pool. It made it very convenient. They also had a bon fire one night for everyone.

It was nice.

Location was beautiful, amenities were nice. Pros: the location had ample walking/views, location, pool/hot tub, fire pit/grilling—owner was very sweet and answered all questions, neighbors seemed friendly as well Cons: cleaning needs work—for the price paid, the place has cobwebs and dust (grates and lights and some appliances); found chocolate chips on floor in upstairs bedroom, dirty handprints/dirt smears on almost every wall, broken bar stool and ripped up seat pads—I was concerned so I took photos of things and sent it to owner, I was afraid she would think we left it this way but she was very responsive and reassuring. All in all, we enjoyed our stay—however, if I were the owner/host, I’d get a different housekeeping company—they really didn’t pay much attention to detail as far as cleaning the unit. I would also look into having a stock of basics in the kitchen (sugar, oil, some seasonings, cleaning supplies etc.)—we spent so much at the grocery store for things we overlooked that would have made things smoother. Bring bags— stores didn’t use plastic bags and having an extra trash bag would have been nice for garbage as well. Beautiful unit.

Ski Weekend Getaway

Just a quick weekend getaway with my family and two friends. Place was clean and nice. Host Joyce was just a phone call away for any of our needs. The outdoor hot tubes and fire pits were a nice surprise! Would stay again

Great Getaway

We found this condo to be very clean and cozy and the owners even left some basic necessities for us to use like shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, dish soap, paper towels, and hand towels. I’ve stayed in enough rental places to know that these things are not always provided. Also, not having to bring our own bath towels and bed linens was a huge convenience. There were even board games and puzzles for us to play with when it was raining as well as several streaming services on the tvs. We enjoyed using the condo’s fireplace during our unusually cold weekend and I can imagine how lovely the fireplace must be in the winter after a day of skiing or snow tubing. My favorite part however, was the rule about not wearing shoes inside the condo. I appreciate the effort to keep the floors clean because we have this rule at home as well. The community of Black Creek Sanctuary appears new and beautiful. We had access not only to their heated pool and jacuzzi, but to those across the street at The Appalachian Hotel as well. When the rain stopped we were able to have dinner in the town of Warwick followed by a Drive-In Movie experience that the kids will never forget. Joyce was a text away the whole time and was very helpful.

Perfect for a weekend away!

My husband and I stayed at this property for the long President's Day weekend, and it was just outstanding. The property owner made sure to contact us before our arrival to make sure we had all the info we needed to get in. The unit itself is clean, spacious and in an outstanding location whether you want to go skiing or just explore the area. It feels like you're much farther away from civilization than you really are; in fact, there is a CVS and an Acme quite close if you need anything. It's just beautiful, and we will certainly be back! Thank you!

Joyce was a great host. She was always just a text away. The condo was exactly as listed. All check-in and check-out directions were very easy and clear. This is a great location with great foliage this time of year. We also enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub and took the kids fishing on the property.

Beautiful area but this house was a disaster

We arrived at this property about 12 pm Friday afternoon. There was no working air conditioner and it was 79 degrees in the house. Finally at 1 am the place started to cool down. We had no hot water at all until late Saturday afternoon. The rules listed by the owner were no shoes are allowed to be worn in the house at all, we had to strip the beds before we leave, leave the refigerator clean and empty. However, we had other peoples garbage in the refrigerator when we arrived, the hand towels in the kitchen had dirty food stuck to them. The closet in the master bedroom was so full with other peoples belongings we were unable to use it. The house was posted as pool side view but it was a two minute walk to the pool no pool view at all. The owner of the house did respond to us but told us there is nothing she can do besides take off a few dollars for this horrible weekend where we spent most of it without hot water and waiting for repairmen. Was a horrible experience overall although the grounds were beautiful and well taken care of so if you are able to rent a house from a different owner I would recommend that. We travel all the time and this was our one awful experience.

Disappointed

The outside and the amenities like the pool, hot tubs and other outdoor areas were very nice. The inside of our condo was very outdated. The furniture looked dirty. Maybe it was just old. The kitchen lacked enough cookware. The one nonstick pan was not nonstick. MY granddaugher wanted to make chicken parm and pasta, but there were no big pots. Had to use a small one and divide the pasta into 4 parts. The inside needed to be repainted. My husband and I have visited many places and have never seen something like this. It was listed as a Premier rental, but it was definitely not. Such a shame and disappointment.
