Hidden Gem

Postira is a hidden gem on Brac Island. Beautiful fishing town. The apartment is steps from the shore and a quick downhill walk into town. We will likely stay here again when we return. We loved it!

Wonderful stay

Very clean apartment and great to have a proper kitchen. Huge terrace with amazing views and lovely to swim just down the road. Only issue was not being told where to park in advance so was a stressful wait on a one way street (whereas the parking is nearby and free and not an issue) owner didn’t reply to emails and the contact we were given didn’t reply to WhatsApp messages. Other than these small things would recommend.

Schöner Urlaub, aber das Ende hätte nicht sein müssen.

Es ist wirklich ein schönes Haus und die Gastgeber waren zunächst super freundlich. Leider haben wir gedacht, dass eine Endreinigungspauschale im Preis inbegriffen war, dem war leider nicht so. Wir haben bei Abreise also nur den Müll rausgebracht, die Betten abgezogen und den Geschirrspüler eingeräumt und eingeschaltet. Nach der Abreise bekamen wir dann eine Whatsapp mit „die Wohnung wurde katastrophal hinterlassen“ und wir sollen 50 Euro zahlen, was für uns ok war, weil tatsächlich keine Reinigungsgebühr enthalten war. Ich habe den Vermieter also höfflich geschrieben, mich entschuldigt und den Betrag angewiesen. Was mich aber stört ist, dass der Vermieter weder die Höflichleit erwidert hat, noch überhaupt geantwortet hat bzw. antwortet. Ich weiß nicht ob das die kroatische Mentalität ist oder nur der Mensch an sich, aber so geht man mit Gästen nicht um, daher würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Saubere, gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit großer, überdachter Terrasse, Garten und einem grandiosen Blick aufs Meer, das mit wenigen Schritten erreicht wird und zum Baden einlädt. Zuvorkommende, unaufdringliche, sehr nette Vermieter, die sich im Bedarfsfall gleich kümmern und auf Bestellung frisch gefangenen Fisch zubereiten und servieren. Postiras Zentrum ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einen kleinen Hafen, Cafés und Restaurants. Wanderwege am Meer entlang führen zu idyllischen Buchten mit Kiesstränden. Vom benachbarten Naturdorf Dol aus kann man auf den Miholjrat wandern, auf dem sich versteckt eine kleine Michaelskapelle aus dem 11. Jahrhundert befindet. Für uns ein idealer Ort, um sich erholen.
