Waterfront at its best. A truly amazing location to relax, unwind, reconnect and enjoy all the surrounding area has to offer. Panoramic beach and sea views with an ever changing procession of passing boats and romantic sunsets. So close to the beach you can hear the waves lapping. Privacy assured with no shared facilities or on site owners.

Private access to the all tide swimming beach just steps away with no road or dunes to cross. Relax on the fine white sand beach or swim to the diving pontoon moored in front. Explore hidden bays in a kayak or row boat. Rinse off under the hot outdoor shower when you return.

Located on Tapeka Point beach - just two minutes from historic Russell village with island boat tours, attractions, shops, vineyards and restaurants. Outdoor living is superb with a large furnished deck, privacy screen, sun loungers and BBQ grill.

The living area has high ceilings and a nautical theme with a Cape Cod feel. Views extend through floor level sliding glass doors that open the room onto the deck. Double glazed and air conditioned for year round comfort although this is the "winterless North". Books, magazines and DVD library.

Enjoy a romantic meal at a waterfront restaurant or local vineyard - or pick up a take out and a bottle of wine for the sunset. If you must cook there is a fully equipped granite kitchen with an ice maker, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Laundry with washer and dryer.

Entertainment includes an Onkyo-Bose home theatre system, 58" TV, Sat TV channels, DVD player, AppleTV and media streaming with outdoor deck speakers. Free high speed fibre WiFi.

Take a walk hand in hand along the beach, discover secluded bays, walk the track to Tapeka Point, explore nearby Kiwi habitat, swim with the dolphins, explore hidden beaches in a kayak, walk around historic Russell, tour the Islands, take the passenger ferry to Paihia, sample wine at two local vineyards. There are so many activity options.

This nest is the ultimate beach getaway experience and the perfect base to explore New Zealand's Northland region. Only 3.5 hours north of Auckland.

Awesome spot! We came as a couple and would love to return with family and friends. It’s a great location, there’s ceiling fans and aircon for hot nights, and we really liked the zoned sound system, so we could listen to music while enjoying the view on the deck.

We had a great time! There is direct access to beach and a short walk to another one on the other side of the point. Just a short drive to Russell township which is very handy!

Fabulous. Facilities are great nothing missing, spotless and relaxing. The beach so so magical. We would love to come back. We now want to live in Russell! Relaxing Get Away.

An absolutely stunning location, comfortable house and welcoming hosts. The house was well set up with everything needed in the kitchen and nice linen on the beds and in the ensuite. As a couple we used only the master bedroom, ensuite and living spaces. The relaxed on the immense deck and watched the sun set, kids play on the beach and listened to the call of the sea birds.

Few properties are next to the beach. Many have a road, dunes in front or are very tidal. With a beautiful all tide swimming beach, an ever changing parade of passing boats, no traffic noise and close to attractions this is hard to beat. This is way more than a small room in a hotel or lodge - you will enjoy exclusive use of this large gated beach house, grounds and all facilities.
