The Granary even better than it looks in photos. Gorgeous property. We stayed two nights with a group of six family members. Lots of space. Great deck and BBQ area. And 2mins walk to the Jackson River. Strong recommend.

We really enjoyed this quiet farm/river property. There are deer in the fields all day and the trout fishing is easily accessible. The Granary is rustic but wonderful. The kitchen was clean and anything we needed was there and easy to find. We will stay there again!

Amazing and stunning place

The Granary is the most magnificent home. Very grateful it is available and hope to be back. Property is beautiful with lots of deer and bald eagles and trout. The home is perfect. It was clean and well equipped and every area was so well maintained and decorated. The history of the entire farm is worth reading and being there and appreciating. Overall one of the coolest places we have ever visited and so thankful we had the chance to travel there and spend time at this outstanding place. Thank you!

Loved it! Beautiful and interesting house and property

Our group had an awesome stay here! Both the property and house have a fascinating history. We had a great time exploring the property and just hanging out in the cozy house. It's also not too far from Lake Moomaw and lots of trails. We'd love to stay at this place again.

Rustic, beautiful, serene. This property is a fantastic getaway from urban/suburban life. It has spacious common areas, a serviceable kitchen, and there were fun games like cornhole. There's a 2 minute walk to a bridge that spans the river on the property for people who want to fish, or just listen to the stream and watch fog drift down the mountains.

Wonderful Escape!

We had a lovely time at the Granary -- it is truly a unique and special property. We all enjoyed exploring and relaxing and saw the most amazing stars at night. Comfortable accommodations with everything you need -- definitely a great place to get away from it all.

Exceptional Treasure

This is an exceptional property. The house should be featured in architectural digest. The access to 2.5 miles of a private river with a national park on its boundary ensures a healthy fishery. The cold spring is like something out of a Monet garden.
