The Withrow House, newly constructed in 2018 and located in eastern Bath County, Virginia, comfortably sleeps 8 or can be the perfect romantic getaway. Enjoy this perfect getaway next to the Cowpasture River. There are three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a full living room, and modern amenities such as AC. There is a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, dishes, utensils, and cookware, as well as a laundry area with full size washer and dryer. Enjoy beautiful views from the expansive wrap around porch.

Withrow House was lovely! Beautifully furnished, lots of space, and everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfy, the house was very clean, check in/out could not have been easier. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

To be out in the highlands of Virginia, this was such a great surprise gem. Clean, well furnished, quiet. The best stocked kitchen Ihave ever seen.

Peaceful cabin in the country

We had a lovely stay at this cabin over Thanksgiving - convenient to Staunton, numerous national forest parks, and Hot Springs. The home is comfortable, relaxing, and has a beautiful gas fireplace and large, well-stocked kitchen. Some basics were missing (cutting boards, batteries for the fireplace and tv remotes, etc.) but we brought some of our own equipment and were able to adapt. The property seems new and still unfinished. Some of the bathroom fixtures weren’t installed and the home was missing blinds and curtains, which would have made our stay much more pleasant. There was no Bluetooth speaker for hooking up music. We felt the price we paid was very high for an unfinished property. The water has a very strong sulfur odor that some people may be sensitive to; this wasn’t in the original listing so was a surprise upon arrival. This may be due to the local hot springs (we didn’t look into it during our stay). The home is a little closer to a main state road than we expected, so we could hear road noise when we were sitting on the porch or walking outside. But all in all the home was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Most of these items will probably be addressed when the home is finished. After these basics are in place, we would stay here again, particularly if the listing and price are adjusted for these issues.
