Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and overall had a great vacation. The house is very spacious and comfortably fit our group. While the listing says it sleeps 18, I think that would be very crowded. The location is excellent, but the property needs better cleaning and maintenance.At first glance the house appears clean, but once you settle in, you notice it isn't well maintained. The biggest disappointment was the grill. It was filthy, covered in grease, had old food left inside, and the burners were deteriorated and unusable. My granddaughter touched it and ended up covered in grease.There were also several maintenance issues that should have been caught during a walkthrough between guests. The first-floor bathroom door handle fell off, the laundry room bifold doors were broken, curtain rods were bent, and there were multiple patched water-damaged ceilings that were never properly repaired. Some mattresses were uncomfortable and squeaky, and the basement bedroom felt uninviting, so no one wanted to use it.My suggestion to the owners is to spend a little more time on cleaning and perform a maintenance walkthrough after each rental. This property has great potential, but better upkeep would make a significant difference.
