As of March 2026 there will be a dwelling being built on the block next door. There may be some disruption due to construction noises. All construction works must be carried out at the legal times according to the NSW legislation.


Close to the Myall River and a few minutes drive to shops, restaurants, beaches and Golf Club.

The original quaint cottage is located on a leafy block surrounded by gum trees. The master bedroom offers a queen bedroom, bedroom 2 has a single and a bunk bed. This home is ideal for a small family, a couple and or singles looking for an economically priced holiday.

This home is an older style beach cottage, with original fixtures and fittings.

Important Points

-You need to BYO sheets, pillowcases and all of your towels, or you may hire from the office at cost.

-Strict no party or function policy.

-This is not a serviced apartment, you will need to bring your own food, amenities and toiletries etc.

The house despite constant airing smells mouldy and musty Probably from bedding and lounge . Great location. As weather was warm we could leave all windows and doors open and use fans but smell remains .

Girl at real estate was great house was very dusty even the cushion lounges & beding , fans were filthy there were no tea towels or oven mit . My hole family had hay fever from the dust inside the house over all I think the cleaning was the problem

House was basic but comfortable clean and very well located. However the lovely trees surrounding the house are home to a large colony of flying foxes. These are very loud, very smelly and poo prolifically on cars and anything outside. The smell permiates the house.

Gumtree Cottage

Not flash but all basic items to have a comfortable stay. Need to Pre plan for entering and exiting house with luggage as there are a lot of stairs. House needs a more thorough clean before guest arrive i.e. cobwebs, dust, barbeque, pest control for ants. No ceiling fans for stove or bathroom.

old and smelly broken portable air con unit

Upon entry stairs were precarious, house was unclean smelling stale and of sweat. The portable air con was broken, The bathroom had no exhaust fan, the paint was pealing from most of the ceiling. The property was so bad we didnt stay, we were refused a refund

Great location, Great accommodation, Balcony out back was a wonderful place to relax.

Every thing you need is at this property. Close to a couple of beaches and many fishing spots. We needed nothing more then this property. Really enjoyed our stay. So much in fact we didn’t want to leave so booked for an extra day. No complaints
