Place was great. Good for a large group, appreciated that the bunks were adult sized. We did have issues with the hot tub shorting out so wasn’t able to fully enjoy that, hopefully they will get that fixed. Also fyi the game room is located off the garage and not apart of the main house so didn’t use it much. Would probably stay here again.
This home was perfect for 3 families with young kids. Bedrooms were great and living spaces perfect for our group size of 10. Annie was very communicative leading up to our check in and during our stay. She went above and beyond to replace a broken microwave within hours of reporting the issue, which was greatly appreciated, especially with young kids. Overall, a great stay!
Loved the well stocked firewood. We had a great fire in the fireplace. Lots of games provided, well stocked. Comfortable beds, great game room (accessible through garage) and used the hot tub and firepit! Great for a whole extended family with seniors and children!
This property was perfect for our family vacation. The floor plan is great, so spacious and loved having four bedrooms on the main living floor. This house was decorated very cute as well. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful deck and fire pit.
My extended family of 11 had a wonderful four day stay in Big Bear at this home. It was just as described The property was very clean and spacious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, cooking oil, coffee, and coffee condiments. The outdoor deck was a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the trees and listen to the birds. The host was also very responsive and kind with a couple of questions I had. Overall, we had a great stay!
Great cabin and location!! We celebrated my son's and my mom's birthdays and had a fantastic time. The cabin was comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed to make it a successful family weekend getaway. The host, Annie, was excellent. She promptly answered any questions I had before, during, and after our stay.I'm looking forward to heading back soon for another family get together; I'm thinking winter time to enjoy the slopes, which are close by!
The host was unbelievably reliable and accommodating! I went here with my family which consisted of babies, children and adults! Everything about the property was amazing and the house is very nice. We really enjoyed our stay! thanks Anne again for everything and making our trip wonderful!
We had an amazing stay in Big Bear! My husband and I got both sides of our families together for a fun weekend away. The house comfortably slept 13 adults and 1 baby and was spacious for hanging out during the day. Great location, super close to town, the lake and some great hiking :)
Annie was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to friends and can’t wait to go back!!
We would definitely consider staying here again. The space in and outside is great: bedrooms are separated enough to have space between families or kids, if needed, all 11 of us could sit at the same table to eat, hot tub and fire place made for a very relaxing ambience. We got stuck at check-in because details in the email were outdated, but once we got the owner on the phone, everything was easy. It's an easy drive to either mountain. The matresses and pillows were ok- not great.

Really comfy and cozy and convenient for a big group
Annie is so responsive to any questions it's fantastic! Super location since we had skiers and boarders of all ages going back and forth all day between the house and Bear Mountain. We brought our two dogs and I was frustrated that I had forgotten their dog beds but much to our amazement Annie had two of them in the living room :) Would definitely like to stay there again. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Thanks for the lovely review! It was our pleasure to host your group and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Super responsive host, any small issue taken care of immediately.
We were 3 families traveling to ski / snowboard, 13 people total. Plenty of space to not feel on top of one another. TWO clothes dryers for our wet gear. We used the fireplace, grill, and hot tub. All in good working order.
Views of lake from the deck and one bedroom.
Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin - good all year long
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well equipped with anything you need. The location is great - not too far from town but in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a great cabin for dogs, with a huge outdoor FENCED IN backyard. Our dogs loved running around and barking at things. We loved sitting on the deck in the jacuzzi enjoying the moonlight. This cabin would be great at any time of year!
The owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We had some special needs for my mom, and they went out of their way to support our family. Annie was super responsive whenever we had a question.

Relaxing, spacious and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay, however the house was not very clean. The spa had algae but the host had a spa guy out within an hour to clean it. There was only one bath towel per guest and no extra towels for spa use. There was also construction right next door with hammering going on from 7a-4pm frim Thursday- Saturday. The host comped us a extra night due to these issues. The house was comfortable and accommodated our family of 12.
Our stay was wonderful. Annie our Host was amazing! I cannot express how kind, responsive and cheerful this lady was. In times when good customer service is sometimes overlooked, this is not the case working with Annie. Thank you
The location was great and situated about 10 min away from 2 major grocery stores. Other fun things like restaurants, donuts, fun spots and unique shopping was close by. We enjoyed quiet hikes in the neighborhood which had practically no traffic. It was quiet and peaceful. The house offered a wonderful great room that was welcoming upon entry The kitchen was clean and stocked with cleaning supplies, the pantry for dishes was very well stocked and we also had the option of disposable supplies! Heck yeah, no dishes to wash! Thanks Annie!! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice, clean and stocked with supplies. The game room was great too! The patio area is gorgeous and serene. You wiil not be disappointed! No complaints on our part! Thank you Annie, You're the best!!
We had 3 generations at this house--spouse & myself, 3 adult children with spouses and 4 children, ages 3 months to 4 years. The house layout is wonderful for a large party, with multiple bedrooms w/ king mattresses (all comfy except for 1 room), and enough bathrooms to accomodate privacy for each couple. Presence of bathtubs was very helpful with bathing small children. The kids lived in the jacuzzi, and really enjoyed the video arcade games. Large living room served as a gathering spot and playroom for the littles. The host was attentive and responded immediately to all queries and was extremely pleasant. That said, this property has been well-loved and is now worn, and in need of some TLC. The deck and barbecue are wonderful but need attention from the cleaning crew.We had a great time but if yard landscaping, updated bathrooms and organized kitchens are important to you, this is not your place. Happily, the AC was efficient and kept us quite comfortable. Had there been window screens present in the bedrooms, we would have been able to enjoy the cooler evening temps and not run the AC. The location is superb if you are there for skiing.
It started with the entry the welcome mat was very old and dirty. The bathroom in the entrance had a door missing and had cob webs. The living room had two vlue chairs that were very dusty in the back. Could not put clothes in front bedroom because it was being used as storage. The garage was very dirty. The kitchen utensils were very old and the food would stick to the food. The side of refrigerator was an eyesore it was filled with cleaning materials. I read your email that you pay a living wage thats good. However you should check the work . Also the back deck chairs had no cushions. You have rules us as tenants should start imposing some rules also. The people I took will not pay me now because it not what I told them it would be like

Thank you for the feedback, Margarita. We value it greatly and I only wish that you had said something during your stay so that we could have remedied these issues and provided a better experience. I apologize it was not as you expected.
For future guests I want you to know that we have and will take further action as needed and clarification on some points:
Our crew is doing a deep clean of the kitchen and making sure to dust thoroughly.
There is no missing door on the bathroom.
There is a small wire cart between the fridge and wall with supplies on it. I have never had complaints but have asked the crew to organize it.
There are no cushions on the furniture outside. Just as there are none in pictures or advertised.
The mat mentioned is just an exterior door mat. I have let the crew know it is time to replace it.
We do have one locked closet for owners storage in a bedroom. There is a wardrobe in the corner for guest use which may have been missed? I have asked that my crew double check that and other closets for organization in case they have accumulated extra sheets or pillows.
The garage is a garage and does get dusty. It is used simply for parking, a spare fridge. and it stocks wood for guest use.
The summer brings dust and pollen to Big Bear and our crew does their best to keep up with it. Our floors are dark and dust shows quickly when unloading cars and leaving doors and windows open. The deck can easily have dust or pollen within a few hours of sweeping or dusting due to our weather, trees and winds. We appreciate you keeping that in mind and letting us know immediately if there is an issue. I never hesitate to send over a crew member.
The rules may have played a larger role in this review than mentioned so I want to address them. They are county rules, not ours personally. Code compliance has ramped up post Covid and we make sure the strict rules are in our listing and posted boldly in the home. It may seem like overkill, but we don’t want the county ruining your stay by ticketing you.
Ultimately we welcome the feedback and want everyone to have a great stay!

Beautiful Cozy Vacation Home!
This Christmas we four friends with families decided to rent a home. Moonridge on homeaway website looked beautiful with breathtaking pics and a promise of a home away from home. We contacted the owner/manager Annie and were very happy with her prompt and precise response. We had multiple email exchanges on homeaway site and within an hour or so we were all set for two night stay. We reached after about 3 hours of drive from LA and found the property every bit it was promised on the website. The warm welcoming entrance set the holiday mood. The instruction book was detailed about the home as well as near by attractions. The big living room with fireplace and decorated Christmas tree were perfect for the occasion. There were four large bedrooms downstairs and two large bedrooms upstairs with all linen and blankets provided and were very comfortable. There was ample space in drive way and garage to park our four cars. There was a full kitchen which came handy as no body wanted to go out on Christmas eve. This property had something for everybody game consoles, internet, books and extra games in the garage. The cleanliness was imppecable and property had touch of proffessionalism all around. The response was with in few minutes whenever we had any queries which was very assuring and impressive. Our stay was cozy, comfortable and we all had a very memorable Christmas. If we come back next year we would like to rent this home again as in my opinion it is one of the best places in the area.
I would definitely recommend any body visiting Big Bear lake in California to check this property as you will make some memories to last!

Beautiful spacious property
Our family vacations in Big Bear every year and this was by far the best vacation house we have rented. Ana literally thought of everything. There was not one thing we needed during our stay that we didnt have. Every room had more than enough blankets and pillows . Some of the rooms had robes as well. The house was more than stocked. She provided shampoo and soap in every restroom as well as a fully stocked kitchen. I noticed there were sleds, skis, snow board onsite for use during the winter season. The game room was nice for everyone to have fun in. It had a pool table and a fooseball table. The balcony is amazing set in the trees with a hammock in the yard below. The Jacuzzi on the deck was amazing. It seemed fairly new worked perfectly. There's was nothing i disliked about this house or the owners. The house does not have an air conditioner. I was a bit worried at first but almost every room has ceiling fans and the breeze up there is perfect. The only room that was a bit warm was the second master but if you leave the window open it's perfect. For people who are looking for that giant master bathroom this house doesn't have it but honestly you don't need it with everything else. I would highly recommend this property. Oh and on a side note I noticed that someone had commented that the furniture was outdated. I have quite expensive taste and the couches and chairs were to die for they were so comfortable! This an actual cabin with modern touches. My family had to come to big bear this time around for a funeral and I was worried about space . I wanted to make sure everyone had enough space so they could grieve and not argue because they were crowded. This was perfect, we accommodated 10 adults and 3 children perfectly. (I only anticipated 8 adults and 1 child, even with the extra people we were comfortable) this house could sleep way way more but for privacy it fit us perfectly. I couldn't recommend a better house or a better owner. Ana was courteous and attentive and very accomadating given our situation! We will never rent another house for our family vacations again! Highly recommended , you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for such a wonderful review! It means so much to us as we truly strive to provide the best experience possible for our guests. Your family was such a lovely, respectful, and communicative group that any owner would be lucky to host. We regret that your first visit was under such sad circumstances, but are keeping you in our thoughts and hearts and look forward to next time when you can come to relax and rejoice.

Totally different than the pictures
We got there, the lady that checked us in was friendly and nice.
The room was not cleaned and there were full of dust and little trash here and there in cabinets and kitchen. I opened the mirror in the restroom and someone ate a chocolates bars and left the trash in there charging for cleaning ans nit cleaning the place!!! Not cool at all!!! The refrigerator smelled like a dead mouse and was kind of digesting. The balcony was nice but not cleaned and the bench was broken and a pice of wood sticked out of it so we had to put blanket to sit on it.
The kitchen was nice but all the pots were old and not enough spoon or fork for 12 people. I talked to Annie and she agreed for early check in, that was nice of her. But in the mean time the maintenance came in to instal
The AC! And fix the curtain that I mentioned to Annie that is broken.
Some beds in some bedrooms were too old that the wood sounds wired with every move at night. There were signs all over the place about not having music or talk loud in the balcony with the fines of $500 and $1000 at anytime of the day! Why would I want to go somewhere I can’t have my music on or talk at any time of the day!!! On my vacation!!!
In the description, they said there will be paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash in all the bathrooms!!! Not true I had to run to store for paper towels and paper toilet and shampoo and body wash. I spouse to stay there three nights and there were no supplies for three days!! As it should of be according to description. Be aware you should drive to drop your own trash if you are staying for couple nights!! Wired for what you pay!!!
For what I paid I had a very higher expectations and none was satisfied except the view of the cabins and beds that were super clean.
Overall I liked the cabin but mot the rules!! You will not be comfortable with all the signs around the house. The pictures on this cabin needs to be updated. There are old and the cabins doesn’t look like the pictures at all except the views.
Great communication and area but cabin needs attention
Check in was easy, but then we started noticing problems... there was a leak under the kitchen sink and slow draining water in one of the bathrooms; the floors were covered in dirt, one of the duvet covers was soiled, all of the dishes seemed to not be cleaned thoroughly; and supplies like trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc. were not stocked. All issues were immediately addressed! We were told there was a new cleaning crew that was not meeting expectations and changes would be made, a plumber fixed all issues and a cleaning crew came out the next day to address our concerns. We also informed the owners about the broken furniture on the patio.
The cabin is more "lived in" than the photos show, but it was perfect for our large family to each have king beds and individual bathrooms which we all appreciated. The kids also loved the game room and the dogs loved safely roaming the back yard.
If the cleaning issues are resolved and updates made to the broken furniture, I am confident this cabin will shine again! The owners truly care and did everything and more to address each and every concern.
Our friends and family stayed at this home for the weekend and we really liked it! The property has a view of the lake and the deck is fantastic with a fire pit and jacuzzi and plenty of chairs to enjoy the beautiful Big Bear scenery and fresh air. The house is well-appointed - we didn’t need anything. And Annie and Josh we’re wonderful to work with- so accessible and gracious.
We highly recommend this house!
