About this property
Moeraki - Private walkway to Onetangi Beach - Modern 3 Bedroom Home with Onetangi Beach Access
Moeraki is a quality 3 bedroom holiday home which is very well appointed and fully equipped. A super comfy property with spectacular views, where you can sit on the expansive deck and lawn while you watch the world go by. A large open-plan area features a kitchen, fully equipped with all the wares you might need for hosting family gatherings or whipping up a gourmet meal, just add groceries! The kitchen then flows into a spacious lounge and dining area with full-length glass doors that open onto the expansive furnished deck. Bask in the ocean breezes and savor the panoramic views as you grill up a sumptuous barbecue feast all the while watching the yachts sail in and out of Onetangi Bay.
The lounge is comfortably appointed and equipped with Netflix and Freeview, complimentary Wifi is available for your use as well as some board games and books to enjoy.
The master bedroom has a Split King bed and an en-suite bathroom, built-in wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. This bedroom leads onto the deck and enjoys relaxing views over the beach. The other 2 bedrooms are equipped with a Queen bed in one and a Split King in the other.
There is a second bathroom and full laundry just off the open plan living area for guests to utilize, as well as an outdoor shower to rinse off after an adventure filled fun day on the beach.
A short private path meanders from the front of the house down to the pristine white sands of Onetangi Beach. This premium Waiheke home is also just 2 kilometers from some great restaurants, such as 372 and Charley Farley's as well as local cafes and a petrol station. If a comfortable home with spectacular views and the convenience of a beach at the foot of your garden are what youre after, look no further, this island accommodation has got it all!
Moeraki is a te reo Maori word which translates to sleepy sky or a place to rest by day. It is commonly known as the name of a small fishing village on the east coast of the South Island that is famous for the large spherical boulders on a nearby beach. Moeraki is also the name of a ship, in service from 1902 to 1933. The SS Moeraki brought the family's first ancestor to migrate to New Zealand in 1906. We sincerely believe that Moeraki is a wonderful place for you to stay, watch the sea and sky, and rest any time of day.
