About the host

I found early in my life that travelling and meeting new cultures is one of the best things one can do! During my travels around the world, I was able to see some of the most beautiful places on Earth, to learn fascinating angles of their history, and to taste amazing exotic foods. But in the end, it was always the human aspect of travelling that touched me the most. A simple welcoming smile, in the middle of nowhere, can bring the warmth and the cosiness of one's home. Human bonding overtakes any language barriers, and it is ultimately the single most rewarding life experience.
Hosting, in particular, is a subtle art that requires a heartful attitude and putting love in all the details. I feel privileged to be hosting you in my hometown, and I do hope that you can appreciate the charm and tranquility of my apartments.
Enjoy your stay in Porto!

Why they chose this property

With a fabulous locale and stunning décor, the best of Porto's lifestyle is fully represented in this vacation jewel.
I look forward to hosting you in my dear hometown!

What makes this property unique

This apartment was tailored to make your stay in Porto an unforgettable one...
- QUALITY: this is the backbone of this project as it applies to as much aspects as possible, despite this apartment being located in a century-old building: from the contact with guests to the cleaning services; from the furnishings to the online contents advertising the property.
- LOCATION: You'll fall in love with this place! Away from the crowds but not far from the Porto's city centre… This apartment is set in the charming and quiet residential neighbourhood of Foz. The beach and the river are within spitting distance (2 min. walking) and the historical city centre (just 15-20 min. away). Enjoy one of the great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Wander in the intricate cobblestone streets with small town flavour. Jog or bike along the scenic waterfront. Have a swim or head for a surfing adventure in the beach. Take a romantic stroll in the 19th century Passeio Alegre park. Visit an exhibition at the Museum of Serralves and explore its wonderful gardens...
- COMFORT & COSYNESS: only by securing my guests' comfort I can make sure that their stay as much agreeable as possible. The interior décor were designed to create a warm and cosy atmosphere and there was also a clear focus in logistical terms in order to achieve this comfort and cosyness, despite the apartment being located in a century-old building (wide and comfy beds, 4 pillows per bed, hair dryer and free toiletries, etc).
- AESTHETICAL: this dwelling is a homage to design as the interiors display unique an elegance and sophisticated décor.
- THE BACKYARD: this lovely and quiet place is perfect to relax and sunbathe and it is exclusive for my guests' use only;
- SUITABLE FOR LARGE GROUPS (up to 20 people): this apartment be rented along with other apartments in the building as well as the Garden of Camellias house.
