Sleeps 20-50. Less than 10 minutes from Indiana University, this secluded property features a beautifully remodeled 6-bedroom house with deluxe kitchen, two modern cabins each with private bathroom and kitchenette, plus a camping area for larger groups.

Bring your own tents -- no limit on camping. Fire ring stocked with wood. Hot tub open year-round, pool open May-September. ADA compliant.

Keyless lock entry and your privacy will be respected. I am always available to answer questions or help. Parties allowed with prior notice and approval.

Surrounded by forested hills and valleys between two branches of the Muddy Fork river. A beautiful hideaway with neighbors only visible in winter, yet just a 10-minute drive to campus.

Access to the house, two cabins, and surrounding 25 acres of forested hills, valleys, and hiking trails.

The kitchen can cook for 25+ with basic ingredients provided. Dining hall seats 30, or remove tables for a 500 sq ft dance hall. Heated pool (33 ft diameter), hot tub fits 7. Three decks, porch, balcony, and concrete patio with outdoor dining for up to 50. Propane grill with tools. Hiking trails through 25 private acres with benches and picnic areas. Fire ring for evening gatherings. Half-acre fenced area with pool and hot tub for child safety.

10-minute drive to IU campus and College Mall, 15 minutes from the stadium and downtown. Nashville 30 minutes east, Lake Monroe 30 minutes south.

Pool can be heated -- notify the day before arrival. Max 5 additional guests beyond those booked without owner permission. Cabin linens are stored in pest-free totes -- please leave used linens on the bed. ADA compliant: wheelchair access to front door, bathroom with tub, 2 bedrooms, kitchen table, and back patio. 10% discount for Sunday-Friday bookings (not applicable if booking includes Friday or Saturday night).

Great for family get together

Not fancy but clean. Plenty of room and amenities. Organized. Fenced area and pool great for kids. More than enough sleeping room for 20. Washer/dryer.

Great property for families!

Owner super responsive to our needs. Lots of yard space for ball games, pool was clean and separately fenced from yard. Cabins are rustic but functional. Overall loved the property and highly recommended.

Large home with plenty of space

Super large home with so much space. Love the multiple bathrooms. That was very helpful. Also the hot tub and pool were a hit. Beautiful property. Would definitely suggest it for anyone wanting to get away.

Perfect!

We rented this home for a Dad’s Weekend with our seniors prior to graduation. It was a great choice. The house sits on beautiful property with plenty of space for back yard games. It comes equipped with everything you need. As a host, Jonah’s communication was outstanding and he was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Family getaway

Plenty of room for everyone. The property was beautiful, just wish we had more time there to explore. Jonah was the best ! He always got right back with us for any questions we had. We would definitely like to bring the family back.

great house and location, amenities galore

we loved that we could all stay in one place, but still have our own space. We utilized the whole house and both cabins. The outdoor space was great with the pool, hot tub and fire ring. The kitchen was well stocked and labeled so we could find things very easily. Overall, this was a perfect place for our customer retreat. Jonah was quick to respond to all questions that we had in a timely fashion.

Family Gathering

We had a great family reunion here! The pool and hot tube were enjoyed by all. Camp fires were enjoyed. Some of us got to see a large racked deer one morning. There seemed to be adequate room. Adequate parking and great location. We could have used a broom or vac to sweep a bit when/while we were there. Beautiful setting and so quiet, everyone had a wonderful time.

FFA National Convention

Jonah has come through again on housing our large group for FFA National Convention. We travel up from Louisiana each year for this. Jonah has provided housing over the past few years. Houses have been spacious and fully stocked with all we needed. For this house, the propane water heaters were the star attraction. Endless hot water after long days walking were a blessing. Water pressure was amazing too! The kids loved the cabins. This is a great location for large groups with older kids. Wish we could have been here in summer to use the pool!

The main house was great , but the two standalone cabins were not as advertised. Not good one of them didn’t have a refrigerator. And was musty.

Family vacation

Kitchen sink developed a leak - the pipe was corroded and had a bowl under it to collect drips when we got there. After 3 days, the pipe gave out - we couldn’t use the sink or dishwasher until it was fixed 24 hours later. The property manager was VERY responsive, but shouldn’t needing to put a bowl under the pipe have been a sign? (The property manager did send a small refund for the inconvenience). Also, the WIFI set up was initially not working because it wasn’t plugged in, but that network and password NEVER worked -,we found a whole different network & password in the library that did work.

Worked well for us

You have a great place but it could use some improvements. We ran out of toilet paper for 17 adults. We noted mice in the kitchen and in the cabins. Grill was a good thing to have but no propane was left in the tank. Dishwasher lower rack is missing a wheel and hard to pull out. The fenced yard, pool and hot tub were great amenities. The house was clean and tidy with plenty of chairs and towels.. Prompt service was noted on our first day for some plumbing problems and extra sheets.

4 Generation Family Reunion

4 generations stayed under one roof and that was awesome! The pool is huge, the hot tub was great on cooler evenings, and we had lots of room to spread out. The outdoor seating was well used, and we really enjoyed the fire pit. There is a train track near the property but we barely noticed the few times a train came thru. It really was a magical week. The house was perfect for what we needed. The teenagers loved the trails around the property and the wifi. We had a small issue with one of the shower heads (we assume previous occupants did not notify the host), that my brother took care of. The cabins were not as up to par in regards to cleanliness and unfortunately most of the pool toys would not hold air. Jonah was gracious when contacted and acted immediately to assist. Never had a more responsive or kind host. The local convenience store had almost anything we needed and Bloomington was a quick drive if not. I will definitely recommend this host and the house and would stay again.

Perfect for a football weekend

Even though you're just 8 minutes from IU's football stadium, this place is out in the country on acres of land with cabins and hiking trails and an area with a fire pit. Huge heated pool and nice hot tub were terrific and the house and kitchen were very well appointed for our needs. Jonah was responsive to our questions while on property. Best of all, there were lots of bedrooms and lots of beds for our large party, with plenty of room for group meals, hanging out in the house, or hanging out outside in the pool, hot tub, or firepit. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Jonah!
