Fantastic apartment in Cabanas

The apartment was everything that was advertised. A really comfortable home away from home in the centre of Cabanas. Fabulous place to enjoy a stay in this area.

Another great stay in this excellent apartment .

We have absolutely loved all our stays in this excellent apartment and last couple of weeks were no exception. A lovely break from the rat race, and spending time up on the roof to chill and enjoy the sun is the best tonic ever. Everything is so close in easy walking distance and quite a few really good restaurants to enjoy nearby. We love this place and the locals make such a nice community to be a part of, if only for a couple of weeks. Thanks again Jamie for your great help and communication to ensure all was ok for us. Hopefully back soon !

ideal break in a lovely part of Portugal

Easy location to get too & only 35mins from Faro. Cabanas itself has grown over the years but not too much that it is like the other popular holiday resorts nearby, still holds that small town feel with the local population at the heart of it. The apartment has everything you need and is central to all that is going on. We just love visiting Cabanas.

Another enjoyable stay

real problems

told by owner by very positive email we would be met by agents at property they new we arriving at 8.30pm we were asked to phone at airport .No response .Went to flat ,no one there..Phone old no from 3yrs back spoke to Robert who later phoned back with a key box combo .Also said that this had been sent by email.Have not found it yet . After 6 days of stay phoned to ask about change of towels/sheats told owner gave no instructions to change any thing and there was clean linen in a cupboard .There wasn't.Also conformed that the no.to be phoned from airport was only a day time (9 to 6pm )and there never were asked to meet us. General impression .Owner says one thing and then does another .Max stress to us minimum effort from owner.Got the money can' t be bothered .!

Lovely Stay

Cannot fault it, flat is well equipped, close to all amenities, walking distance to restaurants, boats, supermarket, etc. This was our second time here and hopefully not the last, has everything to suit our needs!

Cabanas delight

Jamie the owner arranged everything for us from airport transfer, early access & someone to meet and show us around. The apartment is approx 100 mts from the Rio Formosa river/sea where you will find many bars & restaurants to fit all tastes also many water taxis to go to the beach approx 1 minute where a beautiful beach awaits and a very organised brolly and beds system operates with a beach bar & restaurant are available. an excellent holiday and one we needed. And looked forward to after pandemic we arrived and left through the Faro airport very smoothly no hold ups or long queues.

Warm June Week in Cabanas

Relaxing break

We enjoyed a relaxing break at Jamie’s apartment. The weather was warm so we made good use of the outside spaces. There is plenty of room both inside and out. The kitchen is well equipped, though we didn’t eat in very much. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment block itself was very quiet. We like Cabanas, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, which provide a good variety of meals. The walk along the front is a great way to start the day and the sunsets during the week were stunning.

Lovely apartment in excellent location near to bars and restaurants and close to the beach

Lovely clean well equipped apartment, light and modern with all amenities on the door step, including 2 bars opposite but noise was minimal. Roof terrace was an added bonus, nice and private and sun or shade all day. The spiral staircase to it may not suit some people but we are in our 60’s and found it safe and easy. Cabanas itself was typical Portuguese lots of nice bars and restaurants and not too touristy.

Holiday in Cabanas

Very good lovely appartment very clean and great welcome from Patricia only thing was there was a bar at the end of the street that was loude music it spoiled the balcony at night very hard to sit outside and relax that was the only thing

Great apartment

Everything about our stay at Jamie's was very good. From initial contact and during our stay with him and Patricia, who met us on arrival. Apartment was bright, spacious and had everything needed to help us enjoy our holiday. Apartment is very central to all amenities and had lovely big balcony and rooftop terrace. We recommend Jamie's apartment without hesitation and would live to go again

A lovely holiday experience, ten days of unbroken sunshine and relaxation in beautiful Cabanas. Booking was made easy by Jamie and any questions answered promptly. A lovely apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Well located for restaurants and beach.

This was a very relaxing holiday in a lovely apartment. It was very well equipped with lovely terraces to enjoy. Plenty of shade. Jamie made the booking easy and was quick to respond to any queries. Jamie organised our taxi transfer from the airport and Ian her colleague was there to meet us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and he couldn’t have made us more welcome. We would definitely recommend the apartment and we hope to return in the future. Robert and Maggie

Fantastisches Appartment!

Wir waren sehr beeindruckt von den fantastischen Terrassen! Man konnte den ganzen Tag "draußen" verbringen, da es eine Terrasse zur Seeseite und eine zur Landseite gibt - egal, wie der Sonnenstand ist - man findet immer einen schönen Platz! Das Appartment ist sehr sauber und der Inhaber (bzw. bei unserem Aufenthalt sein Freund Ian) sorgte dafür, dass alles, was man benötigt, vorhanden war. Das Appartment liegt direkt gegenüber einer Snackbar mit gutem Frühstück und neben einer Bar mit Tanzfläche, so dass auch abendliche Aktivitäten in nächster Nähe verfügbar waren. Wir haben uns 2 Wochen lang sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wierder.

A Very Special Place

We loved everything about the apartment and Cabanas. The communication with Jamie and Ian (when we arrived) was superb throughout. The apartment is cosy but still feels spacious. A perfect retreat for days spent relaxing yet still being close enough to enjoy the beach, eat out at restaurants and get the little essentials at the various shops in the village. We loved it.

Fantastic Apartment

I really enjoyed my stay at the Apartment, everything was beautifully clean and well presented. Dealing with Jamie was a pleasure, she took care of everything and even booked my transfers to and from the Airport. Ian was also on hand to welcome me and see me off, nothing was too much trouble for him. I am looking forward to returning.
