Family holiday with 3 children and Nan

Lovely villa, good large space. Pool and hot tub were perfect. We all had a great time and would come back to this villa. Owner was very helpful and replied to all communications quickly.

Very pleasant stay

We have been with family and friends and the house is exactly as it appears in the photos. Everything is very good. We had a problem with an appliance and the owners immediately fixed it for us. The house is very clean and everything is very easy. It's a shame that the weather wasn't on our side. Thanks Anne

Nice property but some irritants

It's a great house with a lovely little children's pool and a hot tub. It's a bit tired, and I understand that in the absence of income due to Covid upkeep will have fallen behind. The fact that the driveway was blocked by a ton of gravel was annoying as it meant street parking and one of the rental cars suffered £150 of damage. Also it was not clear at the time that the heating of the pool was at an extra £100 for the week. I had to spend too much time texting and on phone calls to get things working.

Anúncio enganoso

O título do anúncio e sua descrição afirmavam sobre a existencia de aquecimento da piscina, inclusive com taxas a serem pagas para esta comodidade nos dias de inverno e a sua gratuidade no restante período. Ao chegar no imóvel não encontramos aquecimento na piscina e entramos em contacto com o proprietário, que resumiu a dizer que não havia o tal aquecimento e que se eu quisesse poderia cancelar a reserva. Todos nós sabemos que existe toda uma logística por trás de uma viagem de férias e não é simplesmente cancelando uma reserva logo após ter acabado de chegar ao local que tudo vai se resolver. As pessoas tem que ter responsabilidade sobre o que anunciam. Além disso foi nos informado que a casa não possuia ar condicionado e chegando ao local nos deparamos com um grande e recente aparelho instalado, entretanto o proprietário não disponibiliza o controle para o ligar e o lado da casa que pega sol faz imenso calor a noite. A casa tem boa localização e estrutura razoável, entretanto a limpeza deixa muito a desejar, a quantidade de moscas é insuportável dentro e fora da casa. Toda a comunicação com o proprietário é feita apenas em inglês, inclusive todos os avisos e orientações disponíveis na casa estão em inglês. Acredito que pelo imóvel estar situado em um país que não tem o inglês como sua língua, deveria haver o mínimo esforço por parte dos proprietários em gastar uns minutos a traduzir as informações contidas na casa.

Tres belle maison

Tres belle maison dans un domaine avec tennis et golf . La mer est a 18 min a pied. La plage est absolument magnifique , sauvage et peu fréquentée. La maison a 4 belles chambres et 3 sdb et en plus un wc / evier La piscine et jacuzzi dans le beau jardin sont super . la maison se situe a l entree du domaine au bord de la route somme toute assez fréquentée en aout. Nous recommandons , elle est parfaite pour une grande famille ou 2 couples avec enfants.

Bon séjour

Très belle maison, jolies pièces, joli jardin. Une propriétaire adorable et très disponible. A 20 minutes à pied de la mer. Très belle plage surveillée. A 20 minutes en voiture d'un supermarché ou du marché couvert de Péniche. Malheureusement rue très bruyante et passante. Pas de repos tardif le matin. Équipement de gamelles et de poêles non adapté ou vétuste pour 9 personnes. Obligé d'acheter un faitout. Équipement de ménage du sol non adapté, juste une serpillère. Sachant que la maison venait d’être repeinte, donc énormément de poussière. Impossible de marcher pieds nus durant 15 jours sans avoir les pieds noirs. Malgré cela nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et je recommande cette location et remercie les propriétaires.

Großes Haus mit schönem Pool, toller Strand

Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet, der Pool ist ausreichend groß und tief und macht viel Spaß! Die Lage ist ok, zwar ist die gesamte Anlage sehr ruhig und gepflegt, leider liegt das Haus an der Durchfahrtsstraße, so dass man durchaus den Straßenverkehr hört (Sonntags scheinen viele Tagesgäste zum Golfplatz zu fahren). Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß etwa 20 Minuten, der Strand selbst ist großartig und entspannt, bei unserem Besuch in der Hauptsaison war ein Lifeguard vor Ort, sogar Toiletten sind etwa 10 Minuten vom Treppenaufgang zu finden. Mit dem Auto, was man unbedingt braucht, sind es etwa 15 Minuten in die umliegenden Ortschaften, größeren Supermärkte oder an die belebteren Badestrände. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war schnell und sehr freundlich, bei kleinen Problemen im Haus wurde gleich jemand vorbeigeschickt. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert für Familien/Freundesgruppen.

Agradável

O resort é muito sossegado e bem tratado. A distância para a praia leva cerca de 20min a percorrer a pé. A limpeza podia ser um bocadinho mais aprumada mas a comunicação com os anfitriões foi excelente, mostrando-se estes sempre disponíveis e simpáticos.

Muito aprazível para um descanso .

Maior cuidado com a informação do chec-in , porque não fomos informados do número da casa e dos procedimentos para o acesso a mesma , e não conseguimos obter uma resposta via site e telefone , com os proprietários . Não fosse a ajuda dos seguranças e da recepção do resort , teríamos regressado a casa , depois de uma longa viagem . Resumindo , o espaço seria muito agradável , não fosse a praga de moscas .

Espaço agradável

Depois da reserva feita é que nos foi comunicado que o jacuzzi e a piscina aquecida tinham um preço extra, uma grande falha que o próprio site devia obrigar a corrigir. Em relação ao espaço exterior , casa e piscina são agradáveis tirando as centenas de moscas dentro e fora de casa. A praia mais próxima não ficava a 10 minutos a pé como diz o anúncio e além disso estava inacessível, foi retirada o último lance de escadas de acesso. A alternativa com bebés era ir para a praia de carro.

Perfect Holiday Setting

Last month I stayed with a group in this villa as part of an annual golf holiday. We loved the house, it was the perfect hub for our trip. Spacious, comfortable and clean inside, with a well-maintained exterior. 4 bedrooms which easily fit our party of 7. An outdoor pool and hot tub made for the perfect start to each day of our trip! It is part of the Praia Del Rey resort. The villa is only a short walk from the Praia Del Rey golf course (and clubhouse, a good place for lunch or dinner). It is also a short hop from a number of other championship golf courses, including West Cliffs and Royal Obidos. A few mornings we also took a short drive to Baleal, a lively surf town, for a sea-swim and breakfast. The owners of the villa were very helpful both before and during the trip and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning to their wonderful villa again next year!

Great villa, great location

Our group consisted of one 18 month old, one 6 year old and 5 adults. From last week in Sep to 1st week in Oct. The kids loved the heated pool and hot tub after a day on the beach and even though the villa is quite close to the main road in and out of the golf resort it was nice and quiet and safe. We lucked out with weather and got blue skies for 14 days. (Cloudy in morning but by 10am 23-28 degrees every day.) The electric shutters on all the windows give you extra peace of mind at night. The villa had loads of space so not getting under each other’s feet and was clean and tidy. Anne the owner was very helpful with info and advice. Closest beach has good waves for surfing (but need to keep an eye on young kids as the sea is a bit wild), with Baleal and Supertubos a 15-20 min drive away, local shop on the resort does not have much stock and is expensive but Serra del rei has a small shop with bigger ones in Baleal and Peniche. Small ply park 3 mins walk was great for the kids. The Marriot hotel (15 min walk) has a buffet restaurant & bar and the golf club (5 mins walk) has a bar and restaurant. There is another restaurant at the other end of the resort but didn’t try that. To sum up, the resort at time of year we went was very quiet but that is how we like it so would definitely recommend this villa.
