Accommodation in the Olive Grown Countryside

Self catering holiday villa (sleeps 4). This property is located in the midst of a hilly olive grove, 3,5km from Itri, 12km from Sperlonga and Gaeta, back to that large coastal area - half way of Rome to Naples called 'the Ulixes coast', well known for its wild and white sandy beaches and rocky shore, for its unpolluted sea water. The interior surface is 50sq.m on the ground floor and 25 on the upper loft, a large terrace surrounds the house, and the whole property lies on one hectare of landscaped estate. In the distance, during the clear windy days, the eyes space to the horizon and the sea, to the islands of Ischia, Ponza and Ventotene.

We just loved it!

We have had a fantastic week at Girolamo’s place. The wonderful garden and quiet neighbourhood was so relaxing. We can highly recommend the place for couples who want to chill or explore the nice small villages near by.

A very nice, well-kept house with a beautiful garden in the middle of fantastic nature. we were able to relax wonderfully, enjoyed the terrace and the beautiful view of the garden and the landscape.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit allem, was dazu gehört auf einem wunderschönen Areal und eingebettet in einem traumhaften Garten. Auch Katzenfreunde werden ihre Freude über die zum Anwesen gehörenden Vierbeiner haben. Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschöner Ort zum Erholen

Ein wunderschöner Ort abseits des Trubels. Wir haben uns in dem rosa Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat Charme, ist sauber und funktional und liegt in einer wunderschönen gepflegten Anlage. Girolamo ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, seine Tipps sind gut. Gleich am ersten Tag bekamen wir Tomaten aus dem Garten und selbstgemachten Honig, beides unfassbar gut. Trotz der ruhigen Lage auf einem Hügel ist man relativ schnell in Itri, Sperlonga oder Gaeta. Oder am Strand. Ohne Auto gehts allerdings nicht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Familienurlaub

Wir sind mit unseren Kindern (6 und 2 Jahre) gereist und hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und der große Garten traumhaft. Es gibt Meer- und Bergblick. Mit dem Auto sind viele interessante Ziele schnell zu erreichen. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und um auch einfach mal einen Tag auf den wunderbaren Terrassen zu verbringen.Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und freundlich. Vielen Dank für schöne Tage im Latium.

La casa rosa è una bella casa indipendente, con un bellissimo patio dove fare colazione è rigenerante. Purtroppo abbiamo trovato la casa non ben pulita, il che ha influito sull’impatto iniziale. Il proprietario è intervenuto subito facendola pulire nuovamente. Sarebbe utile l’aria condizionata, perché in Agosto nel pomeriggio fa molto caldo, quindi non è piacevole rientrare dal mare e godersi la casa a causa del caldo. La zona è molto bella.

Wunderschönes Anwesen im Hinterland

Sehr freundlicher und entgegenkommender Vermieter. Stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus, wunderschöner grosser Garten. 8 km zum Meer über ein abenteuerliches Strässchen. Einziger Nachteil: Küche könnte etwas besser eingerichtet sein.

A wonderful holiday

Excellent accommodation located high on a hillside just outside Itri (Girolama is happy to meet you on your first visit- definitely recommended if it is dark). Itri is a small town with all of the required amenities (supermarkets, banks, PO, garages and restaurants). Stunning well equipped apartment set in a beautiful garden. Large spacious living accommodation. Views of the coastline from outside patios making a wonderful outdoor space. Girolamo provides recommendations for local visits and restaurants. Highly recommend Pulcinella, a restaurant near the castle. Rome and Naples easy to visit, can go by train from nearby station. Car essential for this accommodation. Lots of nearby beaches, towns and monasteries to visit. A truly wonderful place to enjoy a holiday.

A perfect holiday ...

... but one week was just too short. A perfect house with all amenities, tastefully furnished, extremely well maintained in a most beautiful garden setting with sweeping views of the countryside right to the islands of Ponza and Palmerola: we certainly will be back!

Fantastic

A fantastic villa in a very quiet location in the beautiful hills between Itri and the fashionable Coastal town of Sperlonga. The main living area has a double height interior and is furnished to a very high and also stylish standard. There is no dishwasher or air conditioning but we were there during very hot weather and coped well with the fans provided. Girolamo is a very courteous and welcoming host and is on site at the Villa should you need anything, his English is excellent. Brilliant beaches within 10 minutes drive and Rome or Naples within easy reach on the efficient local trains. You can park in Formia 15 minutes drive away, and be in Rome in about an hour and a half by Trainitalia. I would recommend flying to Ciampino south of Rome with Ryan Air, the drive to the Villa is then only about 2 hours. You definitely need a car for this Villa.
