Loved all of it. Condo was clean neat and well laid out. Parking was convenient, pool was clean. Beach shuttle boat was convenient. Food and drinks were excellent. I can honestly say the location and the hospitality of the resort are among the best I’ve ever experienced. Our host was great.

We only stayed for 1 night, but this condo would be wonderful for a full week stay. Very large kitchen. 2 very good sized bedrooms with a small room with a bunk bed. Would stay here again. Great location for activities outside of the condo with the stores and restaurants.

Understaffed but working hard

The property had a lot to offer and we had a great time however we noticed they were understaffed in a lot of areas. We noticed the employees were always working hard and staying busy but were just unable to keep up with the demand of all the guests.

Save your money…

We have stayed at Emerald Grande before but it is unfortunately not as nice for the amount of money you pay to stay there. Especially because it is infested with cockroaches. Not just outside on the grounds. We found numerous cockroaches over our stay located beneath the kitchen sink, crawling on the backsplash while we were cooking dinner, on the bathroom counter, and in the elevator. It is obvious that not only is the owner aware of the problem but so was the property. There was not one mention of this in the listing. We went to the front desk to notify them, as we were instructed. We left the room so they could spray the next day but did not improve the problem. We watched one morning as they sprayed for bugs in other rooms on the west tower (we were located on East tower). Once you got past the roaches, both closest doors were messed up and wouldn’t stay on track. There was black mold on the cocking of the shower. There was only enough cooking pans/utensils for a family two, not six. The hallways had a horrible odor to them. Check in took us 45 minutes, and we were the only people at first. We needed extra towels as there was 4 females in our party of 6 and only provided one smaller shower towel per person. The front desk informed us we couldn’t have anymore and that’s why there were washers in each unit. We could have also used extra towels as our kids got sick the last two days we were there. There is more but maxed out on available characters….

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay! Such a convenient location. Even though it was “off season” in the Florida area, most of the shops, bars and restaurants were open for us to enjoy. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub was huge hit with our teens. We will be back.
