Exceptional house by the Playa de Méron

Everything about this house is exceptional. Josete was brilliant from booking through to after we left. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he responded immediately to requests. The accommodation is immaculate. The furnishings and décor are beautiful, and we appreciated the art on the walls. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed. There were plentiful books, TVs, games and music equipment to keep everyone entertained. The bedrooms were comfortable and cool even in the heat of summer. The terraces are excellent, and especially useful was the outside shower and hose for cleaning surfboards and wetsuits. The check in process was made easy by Josete’s helpful communication. We had a wonderful stay here, enjoying the peaceful neighbourhood and the sounds of the sea from our bedroom. This is an idyllic house in an idyllic location. We barely used our car, and explored San Vicente on foot. It would be an excellent base for exploring the Picos and Cantabria. We have been staying in Northern Spain every summer since 2018 and renting self-catering accommodation in Italy, France, and the UK for twenty-five years. This is the best place we have ever stayed.

What a view

The apartment was clean and warm ( we stayed in early November ) and had the best views imaginable over the harbour and the town, with snow capped mountains to the west and the beach and sea to the east. This was the most scenic area we have ever visited and we are already talking about returning next year.
