Chalet Arnou is a detached traditional wooden chalet perched high in the picturesque mountain village resort of Vaujany. The WiFi equipped chalet is provides luxury accommodation for a wonderful winter ski holiday or summer mountain experience for families of eight and groups of up to ten upon special request. In the vaulted open plan living dining kitchen room is a log wood burner. In the basement is a scandanavian style sauna and small jacuzzi spa bath. There are four double bedrooms each with their own shower room and toilet and with enough space for additional cots etc. Conveniently placed for four restaurants, bars and the supermarket all within a 2 minute walk and a great kindergarten five minutes away. Excellent views of the waterfall and down the valley. Vaujany is a wonderful winter and summer resort. In winter the large cable car three minutes from the chalet gives direct access to 2,800m and access to the massive Alpe D'Huez ski area as well as the Montfrais ski bowl with children ESF ski schools, restaurants and snack bar. In the summer the spectacular village is a well located centre for hiking and mountain biking with the famous mega avalanche and the VTT network all accessed from the resort. It is also a base for road cycle racing and canoeing and wind surfing are all possible nearby.
Winter dates are ideally based on Sunday changeover. This is a much easier day to travel with cheaper flights and much less traffic. However we can try and accommodate Saturday changes if required on request. All bedding and towels, cleaning materials etc are provided. Heated boot room
