Comfortable home base for exploring western Ireland! Lots of room, well-equipped kitchen and it’s an easy and pretty walk to town and good eateries/pubs nearby - Kenneth’s recommendation for Larkins in Garrykennedy was our favorite! Our only recommendation would be to update the house guidebook with more information about house heat and how plugs work for we Americans! Thanks Kenneth!

Lovely quiet spot on the river Shannon - walking distance to coffee shops, pubs, restaurants in a charming town. Walk across the foot bridge to another town with more restaurants and grocery options. Host was responsive and helpful. Easy 20 min drive to Limerick. Lots of pretty hikes close by. 1.5 hour drive to the coast, plenty of golf courses within 45 min of the house. We'd stay here again happily!

This was the perfect house for my family of six…two couples and two young adults. The location was great as we explored all of western Ireland over nine days. After traveling each day, the town had plenty of restaurant options to choose from. The house was clean, well stocked and Ken was an amazing host, communicating well throughout the entire process! We especially loved sitting outside on the back patio enjoying the lake view in the evenings.

What a great place this was to spend a week! The house was awesome, large and bright with picture windows with a view to the lake. The towns of Ballina and Killaloe were perfect for shopping and the many pubs and restaurants were fantastic and all were within walking distance. We drove to many areas of interest and found the house to be very convenient to major highways. Our host, Ken, was great - just enough communication to be helpful and always very timely! We had a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful property with everything you need for your stay. The house is perfect for a family vacation. Everything in town is within walking distance. It is a very cute and safe community. Highly recommend and will book again.

Delightful Stay

What a lovely area, and a great trip! The house was clean and comfortable with great views, lots of amenities, and super helpful host. There's a guidebook to the house that answers all the most relevant questions, and it's really easy to relax and enjoy! Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in the Irish countryside

Beautiful home in a quaint and lovely town. Excellent location for touring the area or relaxing and doing nothing. Easy to reach and very attentive host. The house was perfect for our holiday and a definite must go back!

Good break at Ballina

We had a very enjoyable one week stay in this property. The host communicated with us very effectively and the house was very comfortable in a lovely location for touring the South West corner of Ireland. Highly recommended.

Excellent home

The home was BETER than described. Such a beautiful property right in the middle of where you want to go. The restaurants near by are great. A market is 2 minutes aaay and the view from the living room was outstanding. It was just my wife and I and have to say… we will be back .i also want to compliment the bedding and pillows… so comfortable…thank you again for an awesome stay

Relaxing and perfect location

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The location was close to the center of town where we enjoyed various restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Our host, Kenneth, was very accessible and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to answer any questions that we had about the home. We would definitely consider returning in the future.
