Three couples had an eleven night stay at the villa and we all had a great time. Beech only a very short walk away and an excellent bar/restaurant about 400m down the road. Would definitely go back to the same villa.

A wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Ambrosia however we did have a couple of issues which were quickly resolved by the site manager Paul. He was a lovely guy and couldn’t do enough for us and as he lives in the area he gave us plenty of tips and advice along with places to go.
The only thing with the Villa was that all the furnishings were tired and needed updating which Paul told us should be done later this year.
The grounds and the pool were immaculate and we couldn’t get over the size of the lemons on the tree in the front garden.
We went to Restaurant Antico a couple of times as the food and vibe was so good. Also the steak restaurant Andrias on the strip was also good.
The closet beach to the Villa was Corallia Beach. It was lovely but in places had a lot of rocks so be careful we’re you tread.
All in all it was a lovely holiday spent in a lovely Villa. Would definitely recommend it to people but only when the furnishings have been updated.

Lovely villa, great location
Great communication with Chris at first options when booking. All emails and calls answered. Clear instructions on how to find the villa. Paul who manages the pool etc is a lovely guy. The villa is in the perfect location, great outside space and pool, wonderful air conditioning. The Wi-Fi is fast, tv with all sports and movie channels. Firm beds and fairly modern. A little tired here and there. Leaking shower door upstairs (rotted plinth on sink) dishwasher handle missing, all minor things, just a little maintenance. I would recommend and would go again.
Maintenance of bathrooms. To be honest they were very run down. The shower enclosure upstairs isn’t fit for purpose. Need towels to soak up after use. No door on shower downstairs. Sofa feels very dirty. Sorry to moan but I do hope it helps. Thanks

First family holiday in almost 3 years
As a family who were away for the first time in quite a few years, Villa Ambrosia was our little piece of heaven for the week. Our expectations after reading some of the reviews, were that the villa would not fulfil our needs completely… but it did in every way. Very good value for money.
It was equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board and clothes racks should you not be able to live without the modern conveniences including Sky TV which wasn’t working initially but very quickly fixed by a call to Chris. All 3 bedrooms had a balcony & direct sea views. The aspect of the villa allowed for sunshine all day from 7 am to 7pm. We started with early morning coffee on the terrace and moved on over to a lovely little sun trap by the pool. The fridge was stocked with water, juice and milk with tea and coffee provided as well. A lovely touch. The pool had been refurbished and was clean and well
maintained if a tad cold initially, but it was only April after all. The weather really started warming up towards the end of our stay and a dip in the pool was very welcome.
The villa is well situated. It is far enough from the strip to be quiet but Legends bar and a small supermarket are convenient for small shops and a short stagger back. There is a beautiful beach within 5 minutes walk. A car is advisable if you were wanting to explore as we did, but not necessary. Paul Foxon who is responsible for maintenance, was lovely and added to our fabulous stay.
The mattress in the en-suite bedroom could be replaced but that’s it really. Thanks guys we had an amazing stay.

Villa Ambrosia April 2022
Villa Ambrosia had everything we needed for our week stay. Originally booked for July 2020, we finally made it out nearly 2 years later! Travelling with our age 20+ sons and one of their partners it offered the perfect accommodation and facilities for the week. We normally stay in 5* hotels but thought this was a convenient and cheaper option, offering a bit more flexibility and privacy. We were right. The views from the upstairs balconies was lovely and being one of a row of 6 villas it was very quiet. A lot of the neighbouring villas appeared empty so it was beautifully peaceful. There was plenty of storage space in wardrobes for clothes and the kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of outside space for sunloungers which had comfortable cushions on them. We were lucky with the weather and spent a lot of time around the pool (only the boys actually got in it, not quite warm enough yet for some of us, although we sat on the edge and dangled feet into it). The veranda seating was well used and a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch and pre dinner drinks. Legends Bar. 5 mins walk away had an excellent cocktail selection and a good food menu. The area was quiet when we were there, so Legends was quiet. Could be a different experience in the height of summer. The small supermarket 5 mins walk away had most of what we needed but there is also a massive supermarket a couple of miles down the road. Other bars and restaurants were about a 20-25 min walk away.
The wine glasses were very tiny so we borrowed wine and Prosecco glasses from Legends!
We did struggle to get enough hot water for 5 consecutive hot showers, despite using the immersion button. This may not be an issue in the summer although the solar panel does look pretty small.
Cosmetically there are a few things that are a bit tatty (bathroom sink units, plaster on walls in places, loungers are sun-weathered and pool lights are rusty, wobbly and don’t all work) but I can’t honestly say this detracted from our holiday at all. None of these would put us off staying again!

Thank you for your review. We will have a look at the points raised.
Location perfect, but agreed with others about villa. Definitely it isn’t a luxury accommodation. Very tired looking. Lights inside the swimming pool didn’t work, very old fridge and sun beds. Very good communication.

Nice villa close to the sea
The view at the sea from the first floor of the villa
Refrigerator, some drawers ect. in the kitchen need getting cleaned.
The mattress/the bed in the master bedroom is very hard.
Visiting the villa during the winter time it would be pleasant to be able to heat in the bathrooms.

Ok with reservations
Directions to the villa were excellent. Arriving late at night, we were concerned as to the number of insects in the property. Understandably we were the first guests in since lockdown, but no evidence of long term traps. Fortunately there was a bottle of spray under the sink. after a few days the "visits" ceased.
Initial concerns on the pool cleaning were addressed, and we spent much of the time floating in the pool. The outside sun loungers showing significant signs of sun aging (guess that's what you get with 30 degree direct sun! Likewise the balcony furniture - but only 2 chairs and 1 table for 3 separate rooms with access to a balcony a little sparse ) The 2 parasols were changed to upgraded versions whilst there - so these are great.
The pool itself is in need of refurb. the décor on the wall, around the top of the water, was peeling off in several areas. A shame as this made it look worse than it was.
Inside the accommodation was clean. The fridge appears not up to the job. Keeping at the requested coldest settings (3), milk went off after 3 days... not sure if this is typical in Cyprus... do your own research.
The Aircon in all areas was on a timer, easy to operate, but a little frustrating during the night, as max time was 2 hours.
Bathrooms have been updated, shame that the vanity units and mirrors not changed in all bathrooms- but did not impact on the holiday - only a cosmetic comment.
Would I stay here again, probably not, but then we came to Cyprus through limited choice, but had a great holiday, these comments did not have significant impact on the holiday.

Pleasant
The Ambrosia is quite spacious and the layout good. Lovely big door and marble flooring with spiral staircase looks great. Nice pool and surrounding area for sun beds. Large covered patio area with comfortable corner sofa and table was lovely.
As other reviews have said it does need some work doing in places. We were disapointed with the master ensuite, the bottom of the vanity unit had rotted away and was in desperate need for repair or replacement.
The air con was good ...when on. We found the 2 hour timers really annoying especially overnight.
The mattresses on all beds were uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. There are no blackout curtains, so should have took an eye mask.
It's in a quiet location quite a way from the main strip so we found the bus service very reliable about every 10 mins.
Having said this we still had a really enjoyable week at the Ambrosia.
Just returned from a two week stay in this lovely villa. We were a party of 6 adults. We have visited this area for the past 4/5 years and this villa is comparable to most that we have stayed in. None have been 100% but when you consider the volume of holiday makers using the facilities then they will not stay in pristine condition for long. The location of this villa is perfect just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but within a 20 walk from the main strip or short bus ride (this service is excellent).
A 5 minute stroll to the beach and nearest bar what more could you want.
Pool was lovely and we made good use of it. Excellent air con and boy did we need it not that I’m complaining.
The villa does need some TLC and some decent umbrellas would be good. Paul and his team were on hand for any questions that we had.
I would recommend this villa and hope to revisit in the not too distant future.

Our guests have spoken and we've listened. We have made a thorough examination of the villa and have painted the property both inside and outside, the bathroom units have been replaced, all ac units are now new, all bathrooms now have glass enclosures, and there is a wooden fencing between our villa and neighbouring villas.
Our housekeepers are very vigilant in their work and they ensure that nothing is left to chance.
Our policy is to ensure that our guests are happy and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that the villa is presented in an exemplary way.

It’s not luxury but it does the job
This is basically a nice villa and what you’re paying for is proximity to the beach - a five minute walk.
Cons:
Some parts of the villa were a bit dated and worn - we turned on a lamp and sparks flew. We didn’t touch that lamp again. There were some marks on sheets that looked like grease from sun tan lotion, and the pool had a layer of grease and sand in it. Tatty towels and broken lightbulbs. Cheap umbrella’s, so you couldn’t properly sit by the pool. Big pile of cut palm leaves dumped in the front garden. Peeling pool tiles and blocked shower drain.
Pro’s:
Excellent location. Five minute walk from the beach and an excellent restaurant nearby - Porti Antico - get there early! They fill up quick. Lime tree in the front garden so you can pick your own. Nice pool - shallow and excellent for children. Looked like it had been recently painted. Nice kitchen, well stocked for everything you need. Excellent communication from property managers. Excellent air conditioning - looked newly installed.
Overall this is a decent villa, but don’t expect it to be a luxury villa. 3/5. It does the job, but it’s nothing special.
Fantastic villa, in a great location to restaurants and the beach.
The accommodation was exceptionally clean with all the amenities you would expect. The management team of Paul & Kris were to hand for a warm welcome and provided information within the local area. Would fully recommend to friends and family.
Good size villa, very well equiped & perfectly located. In need of some TLC in a few spots & whilst the pool may be 10 metres long, it wasn't very wide. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommended the property.

A wonderful holiday
Just back from a week in the villa Ambrosia. The booking and services from Homeaway was exceptional. This is the first time I have booked with Homeaway but would definitely recommend them. The villa was superb and the setting amazing. The only disappointment was the pool. When we arrived the pool had a layer of sand on the floor and I spent the morning trying to clean the pool before we could use it and the sides of the pool was also discoloured. It was pointed out that there had been a storm before we arrived so that would account for the sand in the pool. The villa was a bit further from coral bay than I thought so we relied on taxis to travel backwards and forwards. But we did have a wonderful relaxing holiday and the views from the balcony of the villa overlooking the sea was fabulous. Thank you for such a lovely holiday and will definitely be back.

Excellent villa with exceptional sea views
Lovely villa overlooking the sea in Coral Bay. Well maintained and Paul from the management company responded immediately when we needed help with the TV. Property is spacious and well equipped and the 'welcome pack' was a nice touch. If we come back to Cyprus we'll definitely consider coming back to Villa Ambrosia!

Lovely villa in quiet surroundings
Have had an absolutely wonderful time at this villa. Very helpful management. The welcome pack was a lovely touch meaning we didn’t have to rush out to the shops. I admit the villa does need a little tic but this has been impossible when the villa has been fully booked. The work is being done after we leave as it’s the first time it’s been available to do the work. The shower cubicles are lovely and having 3 bathrooms was a dream! The views from the bedroom balconies are breathtaking and we had some fantastic photo opportunities from spectacular sunsets and sunrises to clear night skies with stars you could almost touch. We didn’t get to use the pool as weather wasn’t on our side this week but we still enjoyed the layout and the beautiful landscaped garden. The living space is more than adequate and kitchen is fully equipped. Would I stay here again...110% I would. Thank you Chris for a wonderful holiday!

Lovely villa in a great location
Great villa in a lovely location with nearby facilities and transport links.
Only minor points are the villa is looking a little tried and had a few niggly problems such as cracked plaster, leaking showers etc however been informed that these are being addressed in the near future. These issues however did not spoil our overall experience of the villa and any queries that we had were quickly responded to.
Would I recommend or stay at this villa again and the answer would be yes
