Breezeway Bay is a fantastic pet friendly waterfront home for anyone visiting beautiful lake Guntersville.

As you drive up Breezeway Bay road you'll find ample parking on our asphalt driveway. Feel free to leave the trailer hooked up or unhook and store it off to the side after you've launched your boat at the Waterfront boat ramp (less than 1 minute away) and head over to the boathouse.

You'll enter our lakefront home into the well stocked kitchen with plenty of counter space, Calphalon cookware and all appliances including a dishwasher to help you create memorable meals. Our open floor plan offers visibility straight through from the kitchen to the great room making communication with your family and friends a breeze (pun intended...)

Kick back in the great room with plenty of comfortable seating and and watch the 55" HDTV powered by cable or enjoy our strong unlimited use free WIFI.

You'll enjoy the 2 full bathrooms, both with shower/tub combinations and plenty of storage. Don't bring towels or linens because we have you covered!

When it's time for bed you can choose from 4 sleeping areas - 3 bedrooms and a loft. There's a beautiful queen bed in the master, a queen and twin in the second bedroom and 2 twins in the 3rd bedroom as well as a full bed in the loft. We provide all the fresh bedding.

You'll walk out the french doors in the kitchen/great room areas onto a screened porch with another covered porch area beyond that. Both area's offer awesome Lake Guntersville views!

As you walk down the asphalt path to the lake and onto the extra wide pier with rails you'll see the very large boathouse. It includes 2 boat slips each with an electric lift. Feel free to use the lift or we'll lower it in the water before you arrive and you can just pull your boat in/out of the boathouse. All 4 boat house garage doors are powered by an electric opener.

Breezeway Bay is a non-smoking property (inside). Guests can certainly smoke outside under cover in the event of inclement weather.

We're located halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro in the Waterfront boat ramp cove making it very easy to launch your boat then drive it and your truck/trailer back to our home in less than a minute!. If you prefer to trailer your boat, other popular and very close ramps include Goose Pond and Siebold Creek.

David & Edna own and operate every aspect of the property including all the cleaning. You will not find cleaner lodging at the lake! Come stay with us and explore all that North East Alabama has to offer.

Excellent Experience

We had an excellent experience staying here. Everything is so clean and nice. Beautiful house and love the community. Communication with the owner was great and he made sure we had everything we needed. The boat house is great with two lifts and was perfect to keep our boat in. The boat ramp is very close to property and we love waterfront grocery that is nearby as well. Highly recommend this house to anyone.

Fishing Tournament

Our stay at the house was fantastic. We had plenty of rooms, beds and space to accommodate our family. The boat dock was very helpful because I could plug my boat in and not have to worry about taking my boat out of the water every night. It was very beneficial to be located close to waterfront gas station. Excellent breakfast sandwiches and a fisherman’s paradise. I would recommend this location to anyone coming to visit lake guntersville.

The house was beautiful and had everything you would need. Water was down so wasn’t able to use boat house for the boat lift, but that’s beyond the owners control. It was only a minute drive to Waterfront boat dock.

Picked this property for our annual work fishing trip. Great house and boat dock. The location couldn't have been better. Launch and huge tackle store 1/4 mile away. Center of the lake. Highly recommend

Easy stay!

We checked in super easily. There were plenty of clean towels and wash rags. There was space outside for kids to roll down the hill and play tag and plenty of room for parking for all of the family who showed up for dinner- we parked seven vehicles with no problem! This place had everything we needed for a quick family get together.

Every thing you need for wonderful vacation.

The lakehouse was beautiful, clean, beautifully funrnished with all you need for a pleasant, relaxing, comfortable vacation. Owners were available to answer questions and provided instructions for everthing. TV and Computer hookups were a pleasant surprise.

Bass Fishermen

Four of us guys stayed a week at Breezeway Bay while bass fishing Lake Guntersville, the fishing was somewhat tough but the accomodations made up for it. What a perfect set up for fishermen, the boathouse with boatlifts was a pleasure to use & well secured. The house was fabulous & the outside patio we enjoyed after a day's fishing where we could kick back with a cold one & cook on the grill while getting a cool view of the lake. David was a great host & I'd strongly recommend this house to anyone.

Old Guys Golf Gathering

What can you say to describe BEAUTIFUL LOCATION but Gunter Lake, Al. Wish we were fishermen because this property was everything you would need to make your fishing a pleasure (except maybe cleaning fish...and it had a place to do that in the boat house on the property! We got to play the best golf for a long while at Gunters' Landing CC. and Goose Pond CC. With four old guys having our own bedrooms was very nice. The living area and dining area was large enough to make our Poker game very comfortable. We were very pleased with this property and its conveniences for our passions of golf, poker and of course food! Great time and can't wait to go back for more of the same thing!!!

Amazing property!

Breezeway Bay was an absolutely amazing house on Lake Guntersville. The inside was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The boat house was super convenient and easily accommodated 3 bass boats. The boat ramp was a couple hundred yards down the road and with the gas station and small tackle shop across the street, the location was excellent. Perfect for fisherman. The only complaint we had was that the weather didn't cooperate during our stay but hey, that's fishing! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the owner. He was there for anything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. Although we were there on a fishing trip, this would also be a wonderful place to bring the family. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect Lake Rental

We stayed at his property for three nights in August 2017 and were impressed with both and home and the boat house. The house was laid out well and I couldn't get over how well everything was organized. All the light switches were labeled, the kitchen drawer contents were labeled and the pantry was well stocked with spices and basic cooking needs. The pots, pans, utensils, plates and glasses were all neatly organized and the entire house was spotlessly clean. The boat house was awesome with three slips, two of which were equipped with lifts. One piece of advice that was clearly communicated up front is that there is a lot of milfoil in the dock area and you cannot swim from the dock. It is best if your boat is equipped with a trolling motor to make departing and returning to the boathouse easier. We didn't have a problem since we knew in advance what to expect. This is an awesome property and we will not hesitate to rent it again when our vacation plans include a return to Lake Guntersville.

Very nice house and access to the lake.

This is a well-appointed property with updated interiors, nice cabinets and counter tops throughout, lovely screened in porch, fresh paint, plenty of linens, well-stocked kitchen along with easy and direct access to the lake and a boathouse. The mattresses are very firm and most of the pillows were not has thick as we prefer so would suggest bringing your own if this would matter to you There are 2 private bedrooms on the ground floor which share a full bath. There is also a private bedroom/primary suite upstairs with a full bath and walk-in closet connected by a small hall to the bedroom. There is also what looks like a sitting area off the primary suite which has been converted to an additional sleeping area. This area shares the bathroom upstairs with the primary bath. There is a louvered door which connects this loft/sitting area to the primary suite. It is also at the top of the stairs and the area is fully open to below. Ideal for children. The only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that there is a lot of road noise from the adjacent highway which is a major artery from Scottsboro to Guntersville to bypass Huntsville. The traffic on this road includes 18 wheelers, trucks pulling boats, cars, etc. There is a privacy fence and a stand of trees to decrease the road noise to the house but it is only partly successful. The owner is very attentive and checked in with us 2 to 3 times during our stay to insure our needs were met. Would be happy to rent from them again!

Enjoyed our Lake Guntersville stay!!

Nice home, appreciated the wonderful beds!! Kitchen very well equipped, furniture was comfortable, easy, paved walk to pier and boathouse. Covered carport accommodates two vehicles. Only downside - as others have mentioned - was the traffic noise, but we travel with sound machines so wasn't as much an issue for us. Communication with owners was great! Water a little low this time of year but wasn't a problem for us.

D&E Landing Vacation Rentals, LLC is named after us, David and Edna. The name came to Edna literally as we were signing the documents to purchase the property.

Edna's a native Alabamian who grew up in Phenix City. David grew up outside of Boston but found his way to Alabama in the middle 80's. We fell in love with Northeast Alabama after spending 4 years outside of Gadsden before moving to Memphis, TN for 20 years.

Lake Guntersville called to us in the spring of 2013 and we decided it was time to go home permanently! We are, like many couples in Alabama, a house divided. Edna's the Alabama football fan and David's the Auburn fan. Iron bowl Saturdays are always interesting around our house!

David hunts and fishes the area and is always happy to help with any information you need. Edna's a shopper, and will guide you to every place within 60 miles to get a bargain on almost anything! Between us we've got you covered.

We both love to meet people, make new friends and serve our guests. We believe in delivering the maximum value for your dollar and will do whatever it takes to ensure you have a fantastic time at Lake Guntersville and in the Northeast Alabama area!

Breezeway Bay is a waterfront home located mid-lake on Highway 79 making it an easy drive to most of the boat ramps on the lake. If you're not a fisherman, you'll only have a short drive to Guntersville, Scottsboro or Huntsville. There you'll find plenty of activities to choose from including:
