The property was in a perfect location right in the centre of Mere. Good parking and everything you needed in the kitchen. Lovely to meet the host Helen who gave us loads of tips about the surrounding area.
Lovely cottage, host was equally as lovely and was more than helpful on arrival. Area is perfect for walks and a quiet get away and great location for a trip to Longleat. Would def recommend.
House was clean, comfortable, and very convenient for the local shops. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress free stay.
Cosy cottage, ideal for our short stay. Enjoyed the outdoor space to relax in. Ideal village location with shop and pubs. Plenty of walks on the doorstep and places to visit nearby.
The house and its contents were as described and adequate for a short stay but we feel the property could do with a little bit more care and attention.
Lovely friendly host, charming house and a peaceful location. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thank you so much for a lovely trip!
We stayed five nights in Helen’s Coach House and we really enjoyed it. The house has everything you need - nice kitchen, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, comfortabele beds and a private parking space in the small garden. Helen is a great and very helpful and responsive host. Mere is small but nice and a perfect base to discover the area. The local shops have everything you need and the local pub (Walnut Tree Inn) is great for Sunday roast. We visited Bath, Frome, Shaftesbury and Salisbury and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely stay, excellent arrival instructions, we were greeted by our host who was so lovely and sent us further recommendations for things we might like to do. The house is perfect and in an ideal location, we hope to visit again!
Helen provided such a lovely and friendly welcome to her beautiful property. We loved Mere and exploring the region. We definitely recommend the Coach House as a great place to stay for a couple or family.
Lovely location and wonderful host/owner who was welcoming and hospitable.Perfect for a family of 3/4 or two couples wishing to base themselves for day trips to Stourhead Gardens, Longleat or Stonehenge.
Coach House was the perfect location for our short break. The rustic cottage is comfortable, clean and has all the facilities needed for a home from home stay. The host was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The village is quiet and picturesque with several pubs, takeaways and small shops.
Very quaint, excellent location, some of the furniture is a bit worn, and a coffee table in the lounge is needed. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook a Christmas dinner! And the Christmas tree was such a nice touch.
