About this property

Spacious town house with commanding views over all of Torbay.

The View is a spacious town house with panoramic coastal views of Brixham and the whole of Torbay. The property boasts sea views from 3 of the bedrooms as well as the terrace which is a fantastic viewing spot from which to watch all manner of boats and trawlers head out to see. At certain times of the year its possible to see dolphins in the bay and the resident seals in the harbour are easy to spot year round.

The house underwent a refurbishment in 2021 and provides a very comfortable living space with widescreen TV's, comfortable sofas and a brand new kitchen with all amenities. All bedrooms are stylishly decked out.

Brixham has the ability to cater for everyone's interests and hobbies. There are stunning beaches and coves, great restaurants, fantastic coastal walks and fresh sea food vendors minutes from the house. Come and see the English Riviera.

A wonderful stay for a family with 6 children. We loved the views from the house which more than matched our expectations. Having stayed in several Brixham properties, this was our favourite. Paul was an excellent host and we would definitely stay again.

Well equipped house, clean rooms, lovely views. Ideal for a large family get together. Steps to the kitchen are steep as described in the listing but we all managed perfectly well. Host comms very good. Will definitely return

The house was perfect for our requirements. The view was outstanding from the 3 main bedrooms and the living area. The host was very quick at responding to my questions during the stay in regards to recycling and heating. Offered recommendations of places to eat and activities to do in the area. Highly recommend the property and the host.

Unfortunately builders had been since the owner had last been to the property and getting to the key box was quite difficult with bags of sand and a pallet in the way. With 10 of us staying with 3 cars parking was abit of a nightmare( didn’t know it was Regatta weekend) The house has great views from the back, and newly refurbed bathrooms , please note there is no bbq, just a fire pit, with no grill. Paul was great at answering our queries and apologised for the sand bags! A few things slightly annoying only 9 chairs at table and it says high chair available, but it is one that sits on a chair , meaning only 8 chairs for dining if you use it! Would make sense to bring chairs from top bedroom to dining table and put a couple of comfy chairs up there to admire the view . Outdoors the table only seats 8 not ideal when there are 10 people! Bin outside was half full on arrival so we had to leave bags of rubbish outside.As others have mentioned stairs down to the kitchen are very narrow and steep, unavoidable but worth mentioning. Kitchen is fully stocked but could do with a big saucepan for cooking for 10 ! We all enjoyed our stay and was great for the weekend get together.

Great place to stay

Property was comfortable and clean. Stairs are rather steep so not for someone with problems walking.Location of house beautiful views around the bay. As high up with wonderful views it keeps you fit to walk back from the harbour and shops only 10-15 minutes BBQ and fire pit available,

Amazing views and great location!

Lovely couple of nights away here - perfect for us and our friends! Great location close to the town centre and amazing views from so many of the rooms and the terrace. Stairs down to the lounge/kitchen are a little steep for anyone with mobility issues - but we were fine. Loved our stay here and will hopefully return next summer 👍

Great location

Lovely stay, steep stairs would be difficult with young children or older people but we were fine. 6 minutes walk to harbour with lots of dining and drinking. We all had a fabulous time here.

Fantastic Place

We’re here for a long weekend break with the close family. The Property looks small until you get inside - it’s huge, modern but keeping its quaintness - warm, clean and in a great setting. Fantastic views of Brixham Harbour and Torbay. The kids loved it - Will be back.

Excellent property

Brilliant stay, views amazing, stairs very steep so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Host extremely helpful would definitely recommend to friends and family. If you want an excellent meal go to The Prince William across the harbour.

Stayed over the New year, great property for a group of 7. Fantastic views over the harbour and quiet location. Easy access to the restaurants, steep walk but only takes 5mins. Parking was ok despite being in 2 cars, managed to park less than 100 yards away. Great comms from the owner with super clear instructions.

Beautiful location and setting

The house was very large and suited out larger family Needs . Wonderful scenic views of the harbour and very quiet and peaceful. It wasn’t easy to get parked near the house and it was a busy season, so that’s understandable. Overall we had a really nice time.

Great location, amazing house with stunning views

We loved the house and it was so well equipped for a hassle free stay. Steep stairs were a funny talking point but the size of the house was fabulous. Plenty of equipment and lovely tidy furnishings so we could all relax, cook, and enjoy our time together. The host Paul was faultless and we had good contact before our trip which meant we had no surprises.

Fabulous weekend break

What a find! We had a wonderful time, the location of this property is perfect with amazing views and a short walk to the harbour side. The property is well stocked and we were able to park right outside. The stairs down to the kitchen area are very steep which might be of consideration to elderly or very young visitors. Would highly recommend
