The cottage is bright and spacious and consists of 2 large en-suite bedrooms a double and single bed in one room, double in the other, has a well-equipped open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The bedrooms & living area are all fully air-conditioned.
There is an outdoor dining area, a BBQ and large private grounds surrounded by mature oak trees. Close proximity to walking tracks.

The 10x5m private pool has a large terraced area and is securely fenced.

The cottage is fully equipped including:
Oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, TV, DVD player, Air Conditioning in bedrooms & Living room also with ceiling fan in Living room.

Bed Linen and towels are provided.

The cottage is well furnished and equipped to a high standard. Ample private parking space is available.

Wonderful place

We had the pleasure of staying in Marks wonderful cottage in Fayence. The place checked all the boxes of what you’d want a place like this to spend your vacation at. Communication and description of the house was spot on, and we’d love to come back another time.

Amazing base

Beautiful setting but within easy reach of lots of places to visit for the day. Beautiful lake nearby with activities and plenty of restaurants and supermarket/ shops in Fayence too. Mark was extremely responsive and very welcoming

Property was excellent, and well kept throughout. Mark was on hand to support with any issues quickly and efficiently. The pool is wonderful and was well used, and the location is great providing access to a number of local villages a towns with a short drive.

Nice place in the countryside very close to Fayence

Very clean house and pool in very quiet place in rural area 1.5-2 km from big super market and the restaurants in Fayence. Occassionally you can hear and see small airplanes from a very small airfield for gliders nearby. Host live in neighbouring house but is very careful not to disturb.

Perfect French Cottage

Highly recommend this property, it was exactly what we were looking for, perfect French cottage . set in peaceful country side, spacious, comfortable, fantastic pool and outside areas. Better than the pictures. Fayence is lovely village, but would recommend having a car as steep climb to the village, but some lovely French restaurants, shops and market 3 times a week. Large supermarket in walking distance. Plenty to explore in surrounding areas, vineyards, lake with water activities, drive to Nice, Cannes, Monaco and many other French towns and villages. Owners Marc and Lorna who live near by were lovely, on hand if you need them but at same time don’t know they are are even there.

Wir haben 2 Wochen im August das wundervolle Haus genossen. Schon vor der Anreise hatten wir freundlichem WhatsApp Kontakt mit dem Besitzer Mark, der uns dann auch persönlich empfangen und alles erklärt und gezeigt hat. Zur Begrüßung wurden wir mit französischen Spezialitäten empfangen. Vielen Dank dafür. Das Haus ist ein Traum, es gibt, wie beschrieben; im Wohnzimmer/Küche und den beiden Schlafzimmern gut funktionierende Klimaanlagen. An den Fenstern gibt es Fliegengitter. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet. Es fehlt wirklich nichts. Handtücher und auch Pooltücher sind vorhanden.Das absolute Highlight ist der stets super saubere, riesige Pool, welcher jeden Morgen ganz früh von Mark gereinigt wurde. Obwohl Mark und Lorna in einem Haus nebenan wohnen, hatten wir immer das Gefühl, ganz alleine zu sein. Sie waren praktisch unsichtbar, aber per WhatsApp jederzeit erreichbar. Da es in Fayance einen kleinen Flugplatz gibt, haben wir ab und zu Flugzeue gehört und gesehen, was aber nicht gestört hat. Wir empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter und danken Mark für den wirklich entspannten Urlaub,Andreas, Michaela und Nina

Pareltje in de bossen

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Mark, de eigenaar heeft ons gastvrij ontvangen en alles laten zien. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. In het echt is het mooier dan op de foto's. Vooral het buiten verblijf is erg mooi. De omgeving is leuk om uitstapjes te maken, je bent gemiddeld een uur van de grote plaatsen zoals Nice , Saint tropez verwijderd. Echt een aanrader!

Gezinsvakantie

Een aanrader! Wij hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf. Het huis was zeer netjes en verzorgd, recent opgefrist (nog niet zichtbaar op de foto's). De tuin en het zwembad werden gedurende ons verblijf op een heel discrete manier onderhouden door de eigenaar. Meer dan voldoende keukengerei voor 5 personen, makkelijk te bedienen gas BBQ. We hebben dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de airco's in de woning. Voorzie wel een goede muggenspray. In de buurt van een vliegveldje voor sport- en zweefvliegtuigjes, die hoorde je wel in de buurt vliegen maar niet storend voor ons. Bakker, apotheek en grote supermarkt (Super U) binnen een straal van ongeveer 2 km. Wij zouden niet aarzelen om er nog eens te verblijven.

Fantastic holiday home with very good quality equipment. Large and very beautifully landscaped pool. Spacious lawned property for free use. Large rooms and very comfortable beds. Shopping facilities nearby. Occasional aircraft noise from nearby hobby aircraft airport (not too much disturbing).

Wonderful and relaxed vacation

We spent two wonderful weeks in Mark's charming cottage. The house is ideally located for excursions towards the Mediterranean, to the Lac de Saint-Cassien (various leisure activities) and for trips through the many small mountain villages in the hinterland. And if you want to relax, you can choose between swimming in the large private pool, having barbecue on the terrace, napping on the sun beds or reading on the daybed on the veranda. Mark and his wife are super nice and happy to give tips for excursions, we really enjoyed the time and can only recommend the accommodation.

Prachtige plek in een mooie omgeving

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, twee ruime slaapkamers met aansluitende badkamer/toilet. Slaapkamers hebben airco, maar ook horren voor de ramen zodat je met open raam kan slapen (en in de verte de hanen kan horen kraaien en de ezel hoort balken). De keuken is goed uitgerust en buiten staat een (schone!!) gasbarbecue. Het zwembad is groter dan de meeste prive-zwembaden en eromheen staan lekkere ligstoelen, met kussens en parasol. De eigenaar (Mark) is bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam!! De afstand naar de supermarkt is te lopen (15+ minuten) en voor de wandelliefhebber is ook het centrum van Fayence te doen, maar je moet wel van een stukje bergopwaarts houden. Fayence zelf is een aardig plaatsje met mooie straatjes en lekkere restaurants. L'auberge Fleurie binnen loopafstand vlakbij de supermarkt bijvoorbeeld, of Le 8, een klein familierestaurantje met heerlijke streekproducen. Voor een echt goede pizza kan je naar Le bis, maar er zijn tal van andere mogelijkheden. In de omgeving kan je motorrijden, fietsen, wandelen, of je huurt een waterfiets op een van de stuwmeren (Lac St Cassien bijvoorbeeld).

Wunderschönes Haus mit perfektem Pool

Wir durften eine wunderschöne Woche in Fayence verbringen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und der Pool ist top! Alles sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Der Vermieter ist vor Ort und steht für Fragen stets zur Verfügung.Zu Fuss erreicht man alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen! :-)

Lovely cottage for relaxing holiday.

This is the first place we chose for a two week holiday with our teenage boys (15 & 17) and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The review by David C from 2018 is still accurate on everything except that it’s even better. The relaxing pool days were just wonderful for all. We hope to be back again to this gorgeous area as it’s a perfect launching point for so many activities. Thanks to Marc and Lorna for their care and love of the property as it shows as a guest.

Ganz toller Urlaub

Es hat alles gepasst. Das Haus ist sauber, hat eine gute Aufteilung, der Pool ist großartig, es ist alles sehr gepflegt, die Umgebung bietet einige Möglichkeiten. Mark ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer zur Stelle war, uns aber trotzdem komplett unsere Ruhe gelassen hat. Sicherlich ist die Ausstattung des Hauses kein Luxus, aber zweckmäßig und wir haben uns sowieso vornehmlich draußen aufgehalten. Durch die Klimaanlage konnten wir sehr gut schlafen, die Betten waren auch sehr gut. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!

Wunderschönes Objekt, sehr freundliche Gastgeber

Anreise und Willkommen haben perfekt funktioniert. Marc and Lorna sind ein charmantes Paar, sogar die erste leckere Willkommensmahlzeit mit Rosé war bereits im Kühlschrank. Tolles Haus mit viel Grün, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr schöner Pool und großer Garten für Spiel und Spaß gleich neben dem Haus. Komplett eingerichtet, mit allem was es für erholsame Ferien braucht. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Autodistanz. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
