Superb barn conversion. Perfect for 2 people and a dog. Lounge/bedroom on 1st floor with “tyrolean” style balcony to relax on. Downstairs is kitchen/diner and bathroom. Large secure garden. Great location for visiting East Devon and around the coastline. Welcoming host.

Lovely clean and comfortable property with everything you need. Quiet and tranquil location, but good access to other places of interest. Pub within walking distance. Garden safe for Dog. Host lovely and very helpful. Had a lovely relaxing break. Would return and recommend.

Unique property in a very pretty location with a selection of walks from the door. Clean and in good decorative order . Several sitting areas for relaxing and the balcony is a huge asset. Dog friendly with garden enclosed with stock fencing. The fridge is quite small. Would certainly return

Lovely property in a super peaceful village, there was everything we needed to have a quiet break. Totally recommend a walk down the river which is 5 mins away. The local pub is great too. We would stay again in a heartbeat

We stayed with our dog and this property was perfect. The garden is spacious and secure. The balcony is wonderful and we had choice in sitting out in the garden, indoors in the kitchen area or upstairs on the sofa. Everywhere was comfortable and clean. Lots of plates, cutlery glasses etc. The shower was hot and powerful. The location was great for exploring local beaches and towns. Elaine the host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

This is a beautiful one bedroom property with a most delightful secure garden for our dog. The host is lovely and I cannot think of one thing that is wrong with this listing. I fully recommend this property for peace and the countryside around it as well.Thank you so much to Elaine for our stay.

Lovely location, 5 minute walk to the River Ottery where it is enclosed for dogs to be safe off lead.The property was perfect for myself and 2 small dogs - and the enclosed garden was great.Fully equipped for all needs. Plenty of books & DVDs if that is what you like.

A cute and cozy English cottage

We loved our stay. The cottage had everything we needed. It’s in a nice countryside with a nice community, friendly people and a great pub nearby called “The Golden Lion”. Lots to do in the area and a nice landlady.

Lovely little hideaway

We had a great trip staying at the cottage, it was beautiful and had everything we could have possibly needed for our trip to Devon. We will definitely be booking to come and stay again. The balcony is a real treat, overlooking the large garden and farmland. Perfect for our dog who enjoyed roaming around the secure garden.

What a beautiful little home which is what this little cottage is. Home from home. Elaine is a lovely person and you can tell she is so passionate about Devon and the tiny Hamlet where she lives. I went on my own with my rescue dog Simba and was met by Elaine with a bottle of bubbles in hand. “ for you to enjoy on the balcony” she said. And WOW what a balcony lovely comfy seating, a view to die for. Simba absolutely loved laying out there and in the garden which is absolutely perfect, very secure and so quiet , again plenty of seating, sun loungers and bistro set. The inside of the cottage is just as beautiful as the outside. Well designed kitchen with everything you need. Lovely modern bathroom with lovely big shower and upstairs is just stunning. Very clean and comfortable everything you need for a great stay. Again really clean and cosy and when you open the French doors to the balcony the outside just comes in. Beautiful. Lots of local walks from the cottage along the river and also to the local pub. What more could you need. Lots of places to visit nearby and further afield that are dog friendly. And value for money. And lots of places just to go and chill.
