Why they chose this property
We've been coming to the Isle of Wight for many years and have always loved the feeling you get the moment you get on the ferry, as if you're leaving the cares of the world behind you. In particular we found ourselves coming back time and again to the south of the island, the Undercliff, with its mixture of lush vegetation and rugged landscape, as well as wonderful beaches and great food for the whole family. The area offers something for everyone, from adventure-park-mad kids (Blackgang Chine) to walkers (the Coastal Path is a couple of minutes away).
What makes this property unique
Mole End has already become our home away from home and we've taken great care to make it as welcoming as possible for our guests. A lot of the work was done by the previous owners, who paid great attention to detail when converting it from its former existence as part of the village pub. The fantastic sea views from many parts of the property are an obvious feature – but turn your gaze inwards and there's great pleasure to be had there too, whether it's sitting round the kitchen table with a board game and a cup of coffee, lounging in the cosy sitting room or relaxing in a hot bath with a good book and a g&t. We always have a relaxing time at Mole End, and we hope that our guests will too.
