Lovely house - perfect for what we wanted. TV was a struggle but owner helped us unravel. Slightly surprised no microwave but we managed without.

Cosy cottage with nice pubs nearby

Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night.

Christmas stay

Hired the hut for a long weekend at the beginning of December. Ideal location for Christmas shopping in Cambridge. Very cosy and warm. Would definitely recommend.

Back of beyond

The second wooden gate was open on arrival. It was supposed to be closed. I was initially thrown. You should put a note with the letter " A " on the gate to the backyard. The lock itself is a mess. The cabin was immaculately clean on arrival. I found the bottom shelf of the refrigerator door broken and unfortunately no freezing compartment. If there were supposed to be four of each of the table sets, there were only three tumblers and two mugs and two wine glasses. Was the shower programmed to go cold after a certain period to save electricity ? You should put an anti-slip mat in the shower recess as it becomes very slippery. A lot of care has been put into the refurbishment. It was wonderfully quiet.

property was Excellent ,owners very helpful,position was perfect for the city and resturants and it has parking.i would recommend . 2 small points bunk beds are not ideal with 2 tenage kids 1 boy 1 girl !!!. it can be very noisy in the early hours of the morning when the students seem to turn nocturnal ! overall 10 out of 10. i would book again.

Perfect in idyllic setting

Firstly, Tess was a wonderful owner who was very responsive but not intrusive. The cottage is delightful, spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. Kitchen appliances and crockery, heating, bathroom, bedding and sofas were all great. Bookshelves contained a well curated array of books. All in all, a lovely place to stay in a charming village with thatched houses, tea rooms and 3 pubs

Immaculate barn conversion for two near Cambridge

Our accommodation was one of three units in a barn conversion opposite the welcoming and helpful owners farm house. The property was spotless, well-equipped, warm (November stay), cosy and peaceful with a car parking space adjacent. The very comfortable king-sized bed and fluffy towels were much appreciated. We were ten minutes drive from Madingley Road park and ride with buses every ten minutes into Cambridge town centre.
