Il Tiglio is located on the Turin hillside, in a recently renovated 18th century farmhouse, surrounded by a beautiful garden and overlooking a beautiful hilly landscape.

More precisely, it is located in the center of the small and ancient village of Revigliasco, in the past a traditional holiday resort a few kilometers from Moncalieri, Pecetto, Pino Torinese, Chieri and Castelnuovo Don Bosco. It is also an excellent starting point for visiting the famous hills of Monferrato and Asti.

Just 10 km from Turin, it is also the ideal place to stay in the countryside and visit the city with its many attractions: museums, royal residences, historic parks and cafes. From the Tiglio you can easily reach the Lingotto Fiere, site of important events (

The fact that the house is located in a built-up area offers many advantages: in fact, within walking distance it is possible to find two restaurants, a pharmacy, a bank, a church, a post office and, two kilometers away, a golf course with swimming pool.

Beautiful farmhouse in the hills of Turin

We had a wonderful week staying at this wonderful house surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hosts Anna and Claudia were very welcoming and made the house very homely and welcoming. Also Anna's brother Luigi was always on hand to help with anything that went wrong. We would recommend anyone to stay and would definitely stay again.

A stylish and comfortable house

We enjoy a lot our whole month's vacation in this stylish and comfortable summer house with its nice garden. Anna is very nice and helpful with everything around the house. Though property is very close to the city of Torino, it is quiet and peaceful in the vallige and it is very convenient to go to the city.

Village Retreat

Our apartment was light, spacious and very comfortable. It is in a small compound with two others, with views to the other village across the valley. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The village is small but has many services including an excellent restaurant across the road. We recommend this destination if you want to stay out of Torino.

A perfect week in Italy...

Thank you for a wonderful week in the hills just outside of Torino.The house was fantastic, the weather couldn't have been better, and we really appreciated all the great tips your brother shared about places to visit in Torino and things to do—thanks for setting up the badminton court and for letting us borrow Nikki (the dog) during the week.It’s a beautiful place to stay, with the added bonus of being just 20–25 minutes from the city. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant options in the village and can highly recommend the Aperitivos at the bar just down the road.We hope to return again soon!

Loved the location, setting and support

This is a beautiful restored farmhouse in the hills of Turin, between Chieri and Turin. It is a great place for a family gathering and to entertain. The owner is super supportive and nice. Thank you! A couple of areas of improvement includes the mattresses and the heating system (it took a couple of days to get cozy) we used the fireplace toDo that and that was a great plus!

Host was very inviting and informative. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Impeccably maintained and very spacious for four people. The views of the mountains were spectacular from our bedroom floor to ceiling windows. Home was in a very quiet and private area. The small village has very good restaurants, bakery and places to pick up groceries and sundries. I would recommend to anyone that wants to be close to the City of Turin but wants a quiet and secluded place to stay.

Home away from home

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. A lovely converted farmhouse in a welcoming peaceful hamlet. Claudia and Anna were the most exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Communication with them was prompt and clear. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals and we eat in often. The lounge/ dining was a great place to relax. The bedroom large and adjoining bathroom with shower appreciated. A beautiful front garden and a covered portico to relax in were an added bonus. Parking in square 50mts away was very convenient. An excellent apartment to stay in and explore the Piedmont region.

Wunderschöne Anlage und perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Turin und Umgebung. Nette Bar direkt ums Eck ;-). Achtung: Das Auto muss auf der nahegelegenen Piazza geparkt werden. Die Wohnung ist mit reichlich Geschirr und Besteck ausgestattet, den schönen Innenhof konnten wir wegen des schlechten Wetters leider nicht nutzen.

Schönes Quartier auch im Winter

Wir verbrachten den Jahreswechsel dort und es war wunderschön. Haus war bei unserer Ankunft geheizt und wohnlich. Zum Ausladen kann man vor dem Tor halten, parken soll man dann aber auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz 50m weiter. Zum Einchecken haben wir eine sehr genaue Beschreibung mit Bildern bekommen. Eines der Zimmer hat ein Doppelbett und im gleichen Raum darüber eine Mezzanine mit zwei Einzelbetten. Abends haben sich alle auf den zwei Sofas vor dem Feuer im Kamin versammelt.Nach Turin kommt man bequem mit dem Bus, die Haltestelle ist nur 150m weg. Wir sind auch zum Wandern in die Weinberge des Piemont um Alba, Asti und Barolo gefahren. Man kann dort im Januar noch süße Trauben finden!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit großem Nostalgie-Faktor

Wir haben uns in der liebevoll im Retrostil eingerichteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Dadurch hat man das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu wohnen und nicht in einer Ferienwohnung. Von den Nachbarn in den anderen Wohneinheiten des ehemaligen Guthofs haben wir nur wenig mitbekommen - und dadurch ist das Haus sozusagen neighbourhood-watched ;). In der Wohnung kannst du die Morgensonne wunderbar genießen. Im Winter fehlte uns aber die Abendsonne, da ab Mitte Nachmittag die Sonne nicht mehr in den Hof des Gutshauses gelangt. Die Lage ist günstig, um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung von Turin in weniger als einer Stunde zu entdecken, wobei viele Straßen relativ eng und kurvenreich sind. Man findet auch zahlreiche Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung, welche erfreulicherweise nicht touristisch sind, sondern auch von den Einheimischen geschätzt werden. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir haben uns als ihre Gäste sehr wohl gefühlt.

Dream house on hills of Piemonte !

Our family of three moved from Singapore to Italy this summer and staying in this lovely property was our first contact with the country and the Italian way of life. The house, Linden 2, is a part of a classic Italian cascina, with a lovely garden in front and the back. The house is clean, comfortable, and opens to a great, flat, enclosed garden. It has a covered portico which is fantastic, both in size and look. The house is settled in a centre of a small village overlooking the hills of Piemonte. The owners, Anna and Claudia were so welcoming and helped us with our various inquiries, from where to park the car to how to find the doctor! Directly opposite of the house is a great Italian restaurant offering awesome food form the region. We have now moved to another part of the same house where we shall stay for another 2 months. We are very happy to have found this magnific house for our stay and I think we shall all be sad to leave at the end ! We can highly recommend it to anyone for short or longer stay.

Calme et bien situé pour visiter Turin

Très bon séjour. La maison correspond tout à fait au descriptif. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié la table de ping-pong et le jardin. Anna, qui parle très bien français, a été très disponible avant le séjour, à notre arrivée et pendant le séjour. Elle nous a bien conseillés pour l'accès et le stationnement à Turin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le musée égyptien et le musée du cinéma.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Landhaus mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr nette Vermieter, die äußerst hilfsbereit sind. Die Nähe zu Turin macht Stadttouren leicht. Gleichzeitig ist man schnell auf dem Land, um umliegende Orte zu besuchen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Relaxed reality in Piedmont

Stayed at this farmhouse in Revagliasco, 20 minutes from Turin. Comfortable size for up to six persons. It was stylish without being luxurious. The village is small but just what one needs. Didnt try it, but there looks a good restauruant right on the other side of the road. The place is handily positioned just outside Turin, one of the best cities I have ever visited in italy. It is beautiful on the eye, in a 19th century style, without the hustle and bustle (or tourist numbers) of Milan - great for a long weekend. I would definitely visit the city again. Only one drawback to the property (as we stayed in July), in that the bedrooms could definitely use some air conditioning.
