There are beautiful views in all directions, across the surrounding vineyards and olive groves, towards Mt Ventoux and the Dentelles mountains. Now adapted to modern living, it makes a perfect, beautiful holiday base within 5 minutes by car of all amenities in Malaucene.
The house can comfortably accommodate 8 people in 3 doubles and 1 twin bedroom, all with en-suite shower or bathroom. South facing and sunny, with easy inside-outside access and ample shade during the heat of the day. Air-conditioning in all bedrooms and ground floor communal space. Cosy woodburning stoves for winter months...
Languish by the pool, bbq, play 'boules' and savour the local fresh Provencale products from a number of local markets. Close to good cafés, shops and restaurants in Malaucene and Vaison la Romaine. Visit Avignon or the nearby perched villages - Crestet, Sablet, Seguret, Gigondas, Gordes. Try wines at famous Cote du Rhone domaines, or explore the Roman remains of Vaison la Romaine or Orange. Superb cycling area - close to Mt Ventoux, the property adjoins one of the most scenic bike routes in Europe. Mountain bike routes and nature trails can be accessed directly from the house and bikes can be rented in Malaucene.
