Great stay, wonderful view

Had a lovely stay here, lovely location, just over a mile walk to the beach, pub and the south west coast path. Kitchen well equipped, good WiFi and comfy beds. The best thing by far was the view - fantastic!

Great little cottage with a super sun lounge over the bay

Super cottage with a trendy interior of vintage / modern, a great open sun room with a large table for eating. Nice large deck out to sea. Comfy beds with nice bedding. Mark was very attentive and checked we had everything we needed. The kitchen had a great cooker and large fridge, the dishwasher was a bit tempermental, but Mark did offer to change. Could have done with a few more mugs and side plates and some little bowls ( just as a suggestion). The parking is very steep so wouldn't be great if limited mobility. A super base with lovely walks on your doorstep, would come again.

Nice cottage with super nice sea view

Nice cozy cottage with room for 6 adults: good equipment, very nice sea view, comfortable furniture & beds, good location to many sights. Neil took good care of us and the house has good tips for excursions in the area. Bathroom and toilet on both floors. The lower floor can be reached via a rather narrow spiral staircase from the inside or (more comfortably) from the outside. Parking directly at the house was unproblematic, the only small problem is that the road in front of the house is narrow and quite busy (connection to Tintagel). However, as almost all the rooms look out onto the garden, this is not a problem in terms of noise pollution. The small beach nearby is wonderful, but quite far away on foot, and at high tide the beach is completely gone. Clear recommendation: The Port William Restaurant directly on the beach: The view of the bay from the outdoor seating in the evening is simply wonderful, especially when the tide is high. Overall: We had a very good time and can definitely recommend the house.

Sommerurlaub 2023

Wir haben 1Woche im August in dem Ferienhaus verbracht.Wir waren 2Erwachsene und 4Kinder. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet,was man braucht. Der Ausblick zum Ozean ist wundervoll, die Umgebung toll zum wandern und surfen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Wir können das Haus definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Wunderbares Haus

Die Erwartungen aufgrund der Beschreibung wurden absolut erfüllt. Wir waren eine Familie mit zwei Teenagern und Hund. Alle hatten genügend Platz und konnten eine wundervolle Woche bei Sonne, Wolken und auch mal Nebel mit einem top Panorama geniessen!!

Fantastic week spent with family in a beautifully appointed home with the most amazing views from the Sun Room to the coast. Only downside is having to go home.. We really hope we can visit again. Thank you

Perfekte Unterkunft

Das Ferienhaus ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Wellenreiten oder Ausflüge zu Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotz des "typisch" englischen Wetter sehr genossen. Das Haus ist traumhaft schön mit viel Atmosphäre gestaltet, man fühlt sich sofort zuhause.

Definitiv eine Reise wert - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir waren mit zwei Paaren und zwei Hunden für 10 Tage im Bay View Cottage und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos: schön hell, offen, sauber und sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Aufteilung ist sehr gut gemacht, das kann man anhand der Fotos kaum erahnen. Generell kann man sich in dem Haus wunderbar aus dem Weg gehen, es erlaubt aber durch die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten ein geselliges Beieinander. Das Parken ist tatsächlich nicht so bequem und man sollte darauf achten, dass der Tank voll genug ist, damit das Auto auch immer schön anspringt nachdem es in der Schieflage war ;) Die Küche ist recht gut ausgestattet, die Badezimmer sind modern und die Schlafzimmer geräumig mit sehr bequemen Betten. Das Highlight ist der „Wintergarten“ mit der traumhaften Aussicht Richtung Trebarwith Strand, dem Hausstrand und Paradies für die Hunde (Cornwall ist übrigens außerordentlich hundefreundlich). Im Port William Inn kann man dort das Geschehen am Strand schön beobachten und eine nette Zeit verbringen. Wir empfehlen das Haus weiter und würden einen Besuch definitiv wiederholen.

Parking

Enjoyed our stay, views were stunning, location was great to visit Cornwall but would prefer a bit more walks direct from cottage, couldnt find the field so had to walk down the roads to the strand, this wasnt a problem, road quiet, I believed (my fault I guess) that the coastal walks were easier to get to, they turned out to be roughly a mile before we could get on them) however that did not dampen our stay. Would have preferred better parking, that was the main issue we had, we could park but it wasnt great.
