This 1st floor apartment is spacious. It has a full kitchen. Private front and back patios with BBQ. This is a perfect less expensive home base for you various planned excursions. On off days, just enjoy staying in our first class community with two separate heated pools with amazing ocean views, our unique soothing Jacuzzi Grotto, heated outdoor hot tub, sun-tanning sandy beach area. Plus choose from poolside or clubhouse BBQs, world-class fitness center, new expansive fully equipped playroom, unique indoor AC pickleball court, and beautiful WiFi clubhouse, and much, much more.

* The Coral Jacuzzi Grotto provides a very unique hideaway for you to unwind and relax after a full day of fishing or game of tennis.

* Shopping? The stores and restaurants are just across the street (Shell World, Vicky's Bakery, and Sol by the Sea). Plus, many other restaurants and stores within a few miles.

• Mariners Club Resort offers tennis and basketball courts, state-of-the-art fitness center, two large beautiful pools. One pool is oceanfront lagoon-styled pool surrounded by coconut palms, bougainvillea and mangrove trees and powder white sands. The second elevated clubhouse pool is heated and offers a more secluded atmosphere with dramatic views of the ocean.

* We provide full access to the world-class fitness center, picklebal paddles and balls, tennis balls and tennis rackets, basketball for court, and pool floats.

* You may try real fishing off the long fishing and viewing pier. Yes, you can fish easily from here. (The pier runs along and beyond the Mariners Club Marina. This long pier is a great spot for relaxing and for taking incredible ocean front photos.

Mariners Club Resort features a beautiful 43-slip Atlantic Ocean deep-water marina. The marina can accommodate jet skis, wave runners, boats, and yachts up to 60 feet long, and the docks are equipped with fresh water and electricity.

IMPORTANT: For any boating related question, you will need to consult with the Mariners Harbormaster. They can provide cost, availability, and rules for boating slips and parking trailer. (SEPARATE transactions.)

* Key Largo Activities:
There is great deal to a Key Largo vacation. Within short drives, you can go diving/snorkeling and fishing to fun and interesting eco-tours, swim with dolphins, and endless water sports. Our guest manual and brochures has a listing of the numerous exciting Key Largo activities.

* Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Key Largo is known as the "Diving Capital of the World". Key Largo has the first undersea park in history, John Pennekamp State Park. Key Largo has been protected from spear fishing and coral collection for four decades and is an integral part of the 2,800-square-nautical-mile Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary six miles offshore.

Famous snorkel and dive sites include the Spiegel Grove wreck dive, Statue of Christ of the Abyss and Molasses Reef.

* Fishing: The waters of Key Largo are teeming with some of the worlds' most sought after game fish. More than 10 percent of the IGFA saltwater line class and fly fishing world records have been set in the Florida Keys.

* Eco Tours: The waters around Key Largo are an ecologically fascinating place where greshwater from the Everglades mixes with the saltwater of Florida Bay. Everglades National Park abuts the near-shore waters of Key Largo to the west providing a home
for an array of wildlife including dolphins, crocodiles, sea turtles, alligators, and manatees.

* Water Sports: Close to Mariner's Club Key Largo are various businesses that offer dive & snorkeling charters, scuba instruction, offshore/back country fishing charters, power boat/Hobie Cat/wave runner rentals, paddle boards, kayak and canoe rentals, jet skis, eco-tours, snorkel trips and evening sunset cruises.

* Central Point for Day Trips:
Many folks also go out on short "Day Trips" and to explore the rest of the Florida Keys by driving further south to Seven Mile Bridge, Islamorada, as well as Key West (farthest point south in mainland USA).

Plus, there are so many places to dine along the way. These are just some of the reasons why folks fall in love and keep coming back to the Florida Keys. Of course, Miami's South Beach unique style and numerous other South Florida attractions are with 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive north.

Note that scenic Keys driving is a pleasure like no other, since you are surrounded by turquoise waters of ocean and bay throughout. The US Dept of Transportation designated the Florida Keys Overseas Highway as an “All American Road.”  US#1 in the Florida Keys is amongst only 30 other roadways in America and the only roadway in Florida to achieve this prestigious “All American” designation.
