Damien was a wonderful host who provided great communication leading up to and during our stay. He was very thoughtful in his preparations and the location was perfect for our week traveling around London with friends.
The property was modern and comfortable with a wonderful garden space in the back. The kitchen was well- stocked with dishes and appliances. The host was friendly and informative. The location is just minutes from the Underground
Damien was a very thoughtful host, and greeted us at the rental. The neighborhood was very quiet, and we felt safe. Close to many restaurants and easily walkable to the tube stations. Charming courtyard great for quiet evenings to recover from faced paced days. The apt is well appointed and has more than what you would need for a pleasant stay. We would stay again when we come back to London.
This was a wonderful experience with a great host for our family of four. It was our first time time to England/London and he was so helpful! We had a great trip!!!
This was a wonderful flat, for our family with 2 kids aged 7 & 9. Very good host that made sure everything went well.Very quiet street, yet in the middle of everything. We loved sitting in the quiet courtyard after long days exploring London. It was just a short walk to the river's edge. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Whenever we are in London again, this will be our first choice of places to stay.
This property had many great features. It was very close to the Waterloo Underground Station and also the Blackfriars tube station. Transportation to other parts of the city was easy to use. The apartment is very spacious. The area of the kitchen, dining and living room is a big open space. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped. The two bedrooms were big and the walk in shower was much appreciated by us( two seniors). We have rented many apartments and this was one of our favorites. It was so enjoyable to have so much space. Don't hesitate to rent this apartment because Damien is a great host and very helpful. He keeps in contact while you are staying at his apartment.
Damien is amazing. So kind and friendly; the flat is centrally located near Waterloo station, but on a private, quiet street that feels miles away from the city. Perfect for a family stay.
The property was clean and in a great location! Damien was super helpful and informative as well as friendly. I stayed there with my two adult sons for a week. We all agreed it was better than a hotel! I highly recommend this property
10/10 experience from start to finish, would definitely recommend to others and we hope to stay here again ourselves. Clean apartment; excellent location near the Waterloo tube stop, grocery stores, the Tate Modern, and the Thames; easy communication and quick response times from host. Host even left us some snacks and drinks for our arrival! We stayed for a week with our 1.5 year old and had a lovely time.
Damien was a great host. He welcomed us and showed us around at our arrival and very kindly had some groceries waiting for us. Everything was very smooth and the location was great. We were easily able to get everywhere we wanted to go.
Damien was very helpful and happy to welcome us, give us a tour and helpful hints. Kitchen is very very well supplied - like staying in your own home. Love the induction cooktop! Cooking for the family was so easy as he has all those little things you need on hand and available for use! We felt lucky to be staying in this accommodation close to sightseeing and everything we needed.
Excellent location on quiet street in Southbank, convenient access to all points in London. Best equipped apartment we have had. Damien’s pre-arrival information was comprehensive and helpful. He greeted us on arrival and was responsive to questions throughout our visit.
Damien was an excellent host. He was there to meet us, to orient us to the flat and give us lots of great information about the area. The flat was situated in a great location just a short walk to the South Bank and restaurants. The Borough Market was a highlight. The flat was spacious, clean, fully equipped with all the amenities. It was great to have the outdoor garden area. A very minor suggestion would be to update the outdoor furniture. We would definitely stay here again if visiting London!
Rather small but very nicely located apartment with a cute yard in the back. Damien was hands on at check-in and check-out and even came to bail us out on Sunday at 9PM when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit! Can’t say enough about his friendliness - he let us leave our suitcases prior to check in time so that we could enjoy Tower of London without dragging luggage with us, he let us do the same on the day of the check out so we had an extra hour to enjoy strolling along Thames River which is literally 3 minutes walk away from the apartment, he left a pack of croissants, some delicious candy and fruits for us on the kitchen table, he had power adapters we could use, etc. We’d stay there again!
This property is lovely—clean, fully-appointed, centrally located, just outstanding. The host couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful, and I recommend this wonderful apartment without reservation. We would stay here again without hesitation, and we hope to do so.Please note, if you are having any difficulty getting a sense of the neighborhood and the walkability, that this location offers extremely easy access to nearby attractions and necessities. The riverfront and Queen’s Walk are just right there; restaurants, pubs, grocery, and transportation are minutes away. We walked to the Globe, the Tate Modern, the BFI, the Old Vic, and the Imperial War Museum with no difficulty. Buses are just out the door, and the tube is very close as well. The location really is just excellent for so many activities.
Excellent location with nearby transport options (walk, bus, tube, train) to all of London's major attractions. Friendly, attentive and generous host and a comfortable well equipped flat. This flat offers everything for a first class stay in central London. Thanks Damien, we look forward to our next stay. K&K, Melbourne
