Cool ocean breezes welcome you upon entering this beautiful 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath beach house in Surf Crest Village, a private oceanfront community situated in the heart of St. Augustine Beach. You can feel your blood pressure drop as you enjoy this well cared for, renovated home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or dine al fresco on the back covered porch. The pool and beach are steps away to relax and enjoy the St. Augustine Beach lifestyle like the locals. There is an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water to refresh yourself after a relaxing day at the beach with your family and also a BBQ grill. There is a stackable washer/dryer located off the kitchen for laundry items. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 1/2 bath for added convenience while the 2nd bedroom has two twin size beds. Both bedrooms and living room have cable ready TV's and WiFi. Enjoy the benefits and privacy of a single family home and rear yard to relax! We love this place - it is our 2nd home and we welcome you.

Adorable beach cottage

This cute cottage was perfect for a long weekend stay for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Great private beach access and the pool was a nice bonus. We all really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch. Beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest would be to add 2 more beach chairs. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway!

This was a great retreat to St. Augustine. The property is a great location - easily accessible to everything we wanted to do - and had everything we needed. Jodi was super friendly and responsive. Restaurants, the grocery store, mini golf, ice cream, the ocean... all only steps away!

Great location, beautifully furnished and clean.

This beach cottage was one of the best maintained and furnished vacation rentals I have stayed at using VRBO. All the amenities of home in a great community and perfect beach location. Not only were we able to see the sunrise on the ocean, but appreciated the closeness to historic St Augustine. The owner was super nice, accommodating and easy to communicate with. Everything you need for your beach vacation is available and there are a lot of stores and restaurants if you need to stock up on food or supplies. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to go back soon!

Quite, yet close to the pool and beach.

This is a very family friendly property!!! I stayed for 2 weeks and can't wait to return. I had the pleasure of meeting Jodi and 2 daughters while there. I felt like we were old friends. I appreciated Jodi checking on me (via text) making sure everything was in order and making sure I was enjoying my stay. P.S. the back porch in the late afternoon is awesome!!!

We have stayed at a few different properties in this location. Hands down, this was the best. It’s the attention to small details that made the difference for us. Everything we expected and more!

This property was everything we expected and hoped for according to the written details, and so much more. They have about everything you could possibly need and lots of things we wouldn't have thought of. The check in process and getting into the house were easy and well explained. Everything was clean and well kept. It was perfectly decorated so that we knew we were at the beach before we even saw the beach. The property manager kept in touch the perfect amount, not too much, but enough. The entire property was fantastic, we felt safe and welcomed. We swam in the pool a couple of times, which was great as well. The walk out to the beach from the property was enjoyable. Overall a wonderful vacation property for my husband and two teenagers!

Great location, warm furnishings, welcoming hosts

My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for New Year's. It was perfect! The hosts were easy to communicate with and understanding of our schedule. The location could not be better - the town is a cute beach town with plenty of good food options within walking distance. It is maybe a 1 minute walk to literally hit the sand, which is clean and very walkable. We spent every day on the beach! In the evenings, we would hear sea turtles as we walked. The house itself was spacious for a couple and would be perfect for a young family of four. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. Plenty of amenities were included, which is really key for a beach stay. For example: towels, chairs, soap, detergent, linens, coffee... Thank you for some great memories! Would stay again, and would definitely recommend!

Owners do not respond in a timely manner

The noise people throwing parties till 3-4am in the neighborhood was absolutely horrible! Not a family place the week we stayed…people smoked by the pool. The owners just said well call the police, no beach police were on duty. Will never go back to use them.

Tiffany, In my 15 plus years never had a review like this. This impacts my review average that I have worked hard for and take pride in. This includes when you stayed in 2018. You were a repeat renter and had no issues with other guests previously. For the record, you contacted me about the noise issue your last day of the stay. Although I do not have control over other guests on the community, I did not just respond with call the police. I asked you what unit and you never told me. If I knew the unit I could have tried to contact the owner or property manager company. It also would have helped if you contacted me earlier in your stay vs. the last day. Yes, I did advise you to contact beach police and there are always police working. If anyone know anything about the law enforcement in St Augustine Beach they know that there are always officers available and they handle noise issues/ordinance. As I told you in our text communications the calls roll to the St. John's County Sheriffs office if the beach operator is not available.. They handle noise complaints. But again I can't address it if I do not know what unit is causing the problem. I asked you the next morning how the night was and you said much better. So I even followed up to see how the night went. So I truly do not know how you say I didn't respond. I have all the text communications that I think you are more upset that I asked about my couch stains. I even made a rare exception and allowed a pet which I do not normally do and you never settled up with me on the pet cleaning fee since you asked about the pet after the reservation was made. I also did not file a claim for the couch damage to my new couch. So I guess you feel all this deserved a one star. Things that I have no control over but did try to assist as well as went above and beyond with exceptions etc. I have never had a complaint on my response or these other issues. I wish there was a way to share the screen shots of our communication documenting and supporting my response. Future guests, I ask that you please do not let this one isolated incident of an unfair review sway your decision of choosing our cottage for your stay. I can assure you that you will love the property and we will make sure all your needs are met. Please take the time to look at all the other reviews as well as reviews on other platform.
