Location, Location Location! Heron’s Watch Condos are located in the heart of Seagrove, approximately 150 yards from a rare coastal dune lake, Eastern Lake, and less than a mile from the gulf. From Eastern Lake dock, you can kayak across brackish waters to the white sand shore of the Gulf of Mexico, or stay close to home and enjoy the community pool. This ground floor unit offers exceptional peace and tranquility with Point Washington State Forest 20 feet from the back porch. Practically out the front door of this condo is the paved path, for biking or walking, which runs alongside 30A from end to end. It links Seagrove with nearby beach towns such as Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Watersound, Seacrest, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach. Our condo is 3 miles from Seaside and 5 miles from Rosemary.

This cozy, newly decorated, two bedroom, two bathroom condo sleeps six, including the queen sleeper sofa. It features so many comforts of home, including complimentary WiFi, and flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and family room, games for family fun, washer/dryer, back porch to watch the wild life in the forest, and front porch to enjoy your morning coffee. There are also two bicycles available to you during your stay, as well as two beach chairs and a beach umbrella!

The master bedroom has a new king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen size bed with adjacent bath. The living room has a very comfortable queen sleeper sofa.

The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare anything from a snack to a family feast! The dining area has a table with six chairs. The very comfortable living area includes a sofa, two chairs, and entertainment center for TV. Sliding glass doors open to the covered back porch.

Other amenities of the property include gated access to the condo development, private access to Eastern Lake dock, community pool, and charcoal grills. Within one half block is Yellowfin Ocean Sports—the perfect place to rent bikes, a kayak, purchase fishing bait, or purchase a fishing rod or license. Also within one half block is Old Florida Fish House, a wonderful family restaurant open for lunch and dinner, with live entertainment many evenings. Buddy’s Seafood Market is right by The Old Florida Fish House. There are many wonderful restaurants, shops, ice cream shops, donut shop, pizza eateries, and seafood markets a very short walk/ride from the condo. A very popular place for the whole family is The Hub, featuring dining and family entertainment. It is 2 mi. from the condo.

I saved the best for last! We are less than a mile to the beach! Walk to it, ride your bike, take the car—however you want to get there—just get there! It’s the perfect place to read a book, take a nap, take a walk, swim in the gulf, or watch a gorgeous sunset, listen to the surf, etc., etc. It doesn’t get any better than this!!!

Eastern Lake Hideaway

We loved the property! Super clean and comfy and hidden a short bike ride from the beach. The pier and kayak access to Eastern Lake was perfect. Fish were almost jumping into the boat! Owners were divine to work with. We will return!

Virginia is the BEST to work with!

The condo was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed! Virginia is so accommodating to work with and was so helpful! We had a girls trip for 3 and we would have had room for 3 more! The condo is located in the center of 30a and close to everything! Definitely stop looking right now and book this condo you won’t be sorry!

My family was very happy with our stay. The location to restaurants and the pool was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood but still close to everything. This was a much needed trip after quarentine. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the condo.

Such a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Heron‘s Watch. It was close to everything we love about the area, yet just enough outside of everything to have a peaceful stay. Virginia was very prompt with getting information to me about the property and we were even surprised with a sweet treat and hand written note upon arrival to the condo. A great place to stay overall!

Great condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very comfortable and roomy. It had a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We appreciated that it included beach chairs and an umbrella, so we didn't have to haul ours. We loved that is was centrally located, so we could get anywhere on 30A in minutes. Virginia was so easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again! Back to Missouri and the cold :(

Great stay

The property was exactly as described. The kitchen seemed well stocked, although we didn't cook that much. It located in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to everything. We were able to bike to many places. The beach access is a short drive away. You could definitely bike to it, but we had too much stuff to take so we drove. My only suggestion would be to put a mattress pad on the master bed to make it more comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo and a great location!!

This condominium was ideal for our Fourth of July holiday. We have been to Seaside several times, and this location was perfect for us. We were less than a mile from our favorite restaurants and shops, and the beach recommended by the owner was less crowded and more enjoyable than others we have visited there. The condo came with every amenity, and there were even bicycles provided! The bedrooms were perfect; each has an adjoining restroom for extra privacy. Because it is a first floor unit, loading and unloading was a breeze. The great location, amazing accommodations, and extremely helpful owners made this our new choice for our Seaside vacations! We will be back soon!

Perfect for us

Virginia (owner) was extremely pleasant and worked with us to make sure that our stay was suitable. The condo is very clean, the instructions were easy to understand and not cumbersome. The owner was prompt on replies back to my questions. The condo is 2.7 miles from Seaside and a little drive from the beach. My son and his friends are 14 and they loved biking back and forth. If you have person with less mobility, and desire close proximity to the beach, it wouldn't be as ideal. We loved that 2 bikes came with the rental and that we were near the pool and Eastern Lake. We were very pleased.

A very pleasant, quiet, clean condo experience

This condo was one of the best we have experienced as snowbirds. It was very clean, furnished as pictured on VRBO, well supplied with bedding and towels, and had ample kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, small appliances and an updated microwave and stove/oven. Another positive was the new porcelain floor, which made cleaning very easy. The condo sits slightly off hwy 30a which makes for a very quiet and relaxing environment. The bicycles were a plus and we used them often; this eliminated the need to rent bikes. Several beaches were close to the condo and within easy access via bike or auto. We visited nearly all the beaches along hwy 30a. The owners were most helpful and responsive to our occasional needs and very pleasant. They also gave us tips on visiting restaurants, parks, lakes and beaches. We would definitely consider this condo again should we visit Seagrove Beach. This review is provided solely by us, the occupants in Jan-Feb 2017.

Wonderful Family Vacation

I've never taken the time to provide a review following a vacation stay but this beautiful, peaceful condo is definitely worthy of a moment of recognition. From the quick response to check availability to the prompt attention to my questions, the owners are amazing!!! Once you walk in the door, the attention to detail is in every element of your stay. This condo is a beautiful home. The pool and beach are beautiful and so close to the condo. My children really enjoyed themselves and it was perfect for our family of four. Excellent 30-A location and perfect accomodations

I can not say enough about this wonderful condo and especially the owners! The condo is simply beautifully decorated, with every attention to detail in what is provided for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, there are TV's in each room, a washer and dryer which was fantastic to have available, and the baths are lovely accompanying each bedroom. The bedrooms are cozy yet with ample room! We also enjoyed the pool right across from the condo. Beach access is a quick walk, drive or bike over. The best part of the this condo is the location on 30-A. It's well situated between WaterSound and Seaside for quick trips to explore all the wonderful neighborhoods on 30-A. As we frequent the area often, we found this to be perfect to jump in the car (or bike) to explore the excellent restaurants and fun activities in each area. The owners are fantastic hosts, offering every bit of help to make our stay enjoyable and simple from a rental standpoint. This condo is an excellent value for the area, and we most definately will return. Highly recommend and so appreciative to find this "gem" on 30-A!

My husband and I have been traveling from Memphis to Florida's Scenic 30A for about 9 years. We have grown to love this area. After spending time in different areas along 30A, we decided the Seagrove area is our favorite. We were thrilled when we discovered this tucked-away condo development less than a mile from the beach. We knew this is where we wanted to enjoy many years of vacation time. It is so conveniently located on the bike path, close to everything fun to do in the area.
