Sunny cozy Sea Cottage with direct view of ocean and Fortunes Rocks beach. The beach is a stone`s throw away and makes this cottage a perfect get away or a nice addition for a family gathering to the adjacent classic Maine 5 bedroom Beach House
Sea Cottage boasts a recently renovated kitchen with breakfast bar, well stocked with dishwasher, bathroom with laundry, living area with unobstructed beach views and 2 bedrooms. The slightly larger bedroom has a queen bed and the bunk room has a twin on top with double on the bottom with storage drawers, for extra comfort. New LTV plank flooring and freshly painted cottage extends a very crisp summer feel.
Fun filled days on the 2 mile stretch of beach - surfing, finding shells or kayaking who could want for more? Watch the crashing waves sitting on the Adirondack director`s chairs plus picnic table and grill just outside the front door. Spectacular ocean views in front or sunset over the adjacent pond!

A little piece of Heaven

My wife and I stayed at the "Summer Cottage" over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had an awesome time going for walks on the beach and even taking a "polar plunge" in the 45 deg ocean. The host was very easy to communicate with during the stay. We will definitely be going back!!

There was no wifi. When we reached out to message the property manager, they we told us it was out of their control and never updated us or apologized for the inconvenience.

Perfect Stay at the Beach

We had an amazing time at the cottage! We arrived late and were met with sky full of stars and even saw a shooting star. Fortunes Rocks Beach is across the street and was a perfect place to walk. Communication was prompt. There is a keypad on the door now so no need to search for the key. Very close to UNE. Thanks for sharing!

September ain't August

We had a lovely stay in the declining days of summer. The surf sound from the bedroom was a lullaby. Amenities were just right for a short stay and we enjoyed our time. Just a note.......the house has none of the basic kitchen supplies like sugar, dishwasher detergent, no spices, cooking oil, etc. so bring what you want and need.

Another eeek in Biddeford

Our house away from home this year was in a perfect location. From the small front porch you could sit and watch the ocean (surfers, etc.). Cool breezes on the porch, paddle fans inside. Wandered down to Perkins Cove and Kittery and also up to Freeport and LL bean. Great time on the Marginal way and lobster at Nunan’s and from Wolf farm. Great!! Ready for next year. House was missing a few kitchen essentials like a fruing pan and a lobster pot, but we managed. Cob webs along the veining,but I got some of them.

Lovely Stay!

The Sea Cottage provided us with a lovely stay on Fortune's Rocks. The cottage was well appointed for our needs. The view of the ocean from the cottage never failed to amaze us, and we loved the proximity to the beach. From sunrise walks along the ocean to watching the sun set over the salt march, the location was perfect. Wonderful people with whom to work.

Beachside heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. We walked the beach during the day , drove to OOB for meals and sightseeing. It was just perfect and we will definitely stay there again. Thanks a lot to management and the owners for having a great rental, clean, modern perfect in all ways.

Short Weekend Away

My fiance and I loved our stay here and plan on coming back next summer. The location is fantastic, the beach really is a stones throw away from the front door. Easy access to town areas nearby while also being separated enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the area.

Wonderful Cottage with Breathtaking Views!

A completely wonderful stay at the Sea Cottage. From start to finish we had the best weekend. The Cottage is very updated and well furnished with everything you could possibly want or need. The location was absolutely breathtaking. The ocean is directly in front of the Cottage. It was so fun to sit outside on the deck chairs and watch the ocean and particularly the surfers. Our little pup Clyde enjoyed his stay as well. Very pet friendly and walking on the beach was absolutely magical. If you decide to stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Our original booking was interrupted by the unforeseen hurricane / tropical storm Lee, and even though we were outside of our cancellation window, Susan & Lisa worked with us and allowed us to reschedule our weekend two weeks later. Lisa and Susan are the best. We actually met Susan and she couldn’t have been nicer. Lisa was our go to person and was extremely responsive when we texted with questions. Literally she responds immediately. The online pictures are very complimentary and accurate however they truly do not due this place justice. I mean that as a compliment in every way. We will be back!

The location of the cottage could not be better! Right across the street from access to the beach. Near Kennebunkport for day trips. Communication with owner was excellent! Definitely will be back

Disgusting

After a 12 hour car ride, arriving at 5pm, the place was not ready. The owners sister and her friend were in the place , told me I had to move boxes if I wanted to use the second bedroom. Said they were "finishing up for the cleaner". The place was dirty, linens were gross, used facecloths and toothbrushes left behind. The family has another home nearby which they monitored us from. The parking space got flooded and unusable, neighbors mad we were there using it. We had to clean to make it bearable. And now, they are trying to charge and extra $500 without any discussion because they said we "stained the sink". Unreal. stay away. I've never had a bad experience with VRBO before this. This place is not presented accurately and the owners pretend they get it cleaned.
