Paradise

Excellent space. Beautiful location. Views over the salt pans outstanding. Birdwatchers paradise. Decor and furnishings ideal. Fuseta is a beautiful village with fantastic restaurants and beach.

Amazing views from this impressive property. We particularly liked the local walks, the closeness of grocery shopping and the ease with which we were able to get to local restaurants. We definitely did not need a vehicle as Faro airport is easily reached by taxi and there are very close connections to buses and trains to reach the whole of the eastern Algarve. A birdwatchers’ paradise it definitely is.

An Original Place - where Birds and Art Meet .

It took our breath away. Behind anonymous metal doors was hidden a magical hideaway - accommodation like no other. A cross between an Art Installation and a place to stay, with magnificent views over the Ria Formosa. Facilities were as detailed, well maintained and clean and the location was easy to find. The Supermarket across the road and the train station up the road were a bonus. The Manager - Eric was friendly and reliable. Alterations made since our visit will have enhanced the facilities. I would certainly recommend to others but point out it is maybe not the place for those with mobility problems or young children.Enjoyed being able to walk to the centre of Fuzeta for evening meals or drinks and 'people watching.' Various boat trips from the quay were well organised. Cocktails at sunset by the beach rounds off an evening.

Lärm wegen Salzabbau

Leider fanden während unseres Aufenthalts tägliche Arbeiten in den Salzfeldern statt, wobei eine relativ laute Wasserpumpe zum Einsatz kam. Der Bagger war erträglich, aber der Lärm von der Pumpe machte es unmöglich, sich zu ihrer Einsatzzeit im Loft oder auf den Terrassen aufzuhalten. Der Anbieter des Lofts hat uns als Ersatz für die ersten 6 Urlaubstage unseres 16-tägigen gebuchten Aufenthalts eine andere Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellt, eine Villa für 6 Personen mit Pool, aber nach 6 Tagen mussten wir ausziehen, da diese anderweitig gebucht war. Wir haben dann eine Nacht im Loft verbracht. Die Pumpe wurde um 19 Uhr abgestellt und war am nächsten Morgen um 7.50 Uhr wieder im Einsatz. Obwohl wir mit Ear plugs geschlafen haben und die Fenster geschlossen waren, wurden wir von dem Lärm geweckt. Ich weiss natürlich nicht, ob diese Arbeiten so immer stattfinden, finde aber, dass der Veranstalter darauf hinweisen muss, dass dies passieren kann. Unserer Meinung nach kann man sich unter diesen Umständen nicht in der Loft oder auf den Terrassen aufhalten. Wir haben uns dann selber eine alternative Unterkunft organisiert für den Rest der Urlaubszeit. Es gab keinen finanzielle Ausfallzahlung vom Veranstalter, der sich darauf beruft, dass die Arbeiten legal seien und ich wohl ein besonders 'empfindliches' Gehör habe. Die letzte Aussage können mein Mann und ich nicht bestätigen (ist uns bisher nicht aufgefallen .... und anderen auch nicht). Außerdem sollten wir dankbar sein, dass wir die tolle Villa ohne Aufpreis für 6 Tage hatten ... Das finde ich tatsächlich von der Logik nicht nachvollziehbar, da wir keine einsame Villa mit Pool in den Bergen wollten, sondern ein Urlaub im Dorf mit Infrastruktur (Restaurant, Supermarkt etc.) und zwar in der Nähe des Strandes .... Am Ende hatten wir noch einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Portugal, der jedoch sehr kostspielig war, weil wir für 10 Tage, die wir nicht im Loft waren, 2 Unterkünfte zahlen mussten.

We are sorry for your bad experience. Unfortunately there was not much we could do about it. It happens only once a year that the noise is close to the Loft and nobody ever complained about this before.

Sehr schönes Loft und ganz nette, freundliche Betreuung vor Ort.

Es liegt super, der Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber, die Ausstattung ist top, der Blick genial. Nur die Autos sind leider zu hören.

Très discret, cache bien son jeu...

Idéalement situé au bord des marais salants, le loft offre une vue imprenable sur les flamants roses et autres aigrettes dès le réveil, en prenant le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, au soleil... Son architecture originale en fait vraiment un lieu d'exception, unique en son genre dans la région. Doté d'une bonne climatisation, et équipé d'un jacuzzi avec vue, il a tout le confort moderne. Seul bémol : un peu de bruit de la rue, mais petit supermarché en face.
