About this property
Charming house in a medieval village surrounded by beautiful nature
In the heart of the natural park “Les Grands Causses” you will find Maison Clémentine. This charming house is located in the calm medieval village of Castelnau - Pégayrols, not far from the famous Millau Viaduct. The car-free village center ensures a peaceful stay, where children can also walk around outside.
You can drive your car to the house to load and unload.
Maison Clémentine offers enough space for 4 people. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms (1 on an open mezzanine) and 2 bathrooms. A cozy kitchen with all basic necessities is hidden in a medieval bridge. From the dining room and living room you have a beautiful view of the church square and the protected 'causses' in the distance. A small breakfast corner is adjacent to the terrace (30m2) where you can enjoy the morning sun undisturbed, read a book quietly, make time for an extensive barbecue with friends or family and sound for that wonderful holiday.
You don't even have to bring your own bed and bath linen. The beds are made for you.
The village is located on a mountain slope, overlooking one of the many beautiful valleys that the region has. Nature lovers as well as sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves here. It is also an ideal base to visit many beautiful villages in the wake of the Templars and the pilgrims. You can take a refreshing dip in the Gorges du Tarn or in the Lac de Paréloup, both less than 30 minutes away.
Enjoy the atmosphere and the beautiful view that the village and the surrounding area has to offer. A holiday in the middle of beautiful nature and all this a stone's throw from the A75.

About the host
Hosted by Els en Stijn
Hello, we are Els and Stijn, a Belgian couple, who love traveling, sports (especially parapents, climbing and hiking), doing terraces and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
This led us to Millau and the beautiful surroundings. We hope you, like us, can enjoy this region, which has a lot to offer.
Why they chose this property
Maison Clementine, an adventurous and romantic story.
Every year in October we celebrate our wedding anniversary with a trip, so-called 'wedding alphabet': antique hunting in Amsterdam, brunch in Brussels and in 2016 it was at the 'C'. Coupe Clementine in Corsica (For the lay: a small paragliding festival on the island).
Coincidence made us return home via the Aveyron and discover the beautiful village of Castelnau - Pegayrols. We immediately fell in love with the village and the charming house. As this fitted our alphabet, we could not let it down.
