The Blue Crab - Outstanding Family Friendly Fun Resort direct Oceanfront

Our home is your home. Enjoy the incredible ocean views and listen to the waves crash upon the shore as you relax on the balcony with a morning cup of Joe or an evening glass of wine....or a glass of wine all day! Your kids will enjoy the 43" HDTV w/DVD Player to watch their favorite movies. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils for a home cooked meal or enjoy the Resort restaurant. The Murphy Bed in the living room with door creates a private space away from the main bedroom and will rapidly become your favorite spot to sleep listening to the sounds of the ocean.

my husband and i enjoyed our stay! the view was great. the room was clean, our only issue was the wifi continuously going out andwe weren’t able to use the pool or hot tub our entire stay due to them closing it with no warning or notice though.

Great place. Our kids loved the pools. Right on the beach. The owner was very fast to reply to any questions we had and very polite. We came for the 4th of July and you can see fireworks right on the beach. We would definitely come back.

Bike week

The owners were very helpful in making sure we were accomodated for bike week. We were able to have assigned motorcycle parking across the street. Neighborhood was quiet and convenient. The room was well taken care of. Great stay.

My wife and I met at Myrtle Beach AFB back in the late 80's while I was stationed there as a young Airman. After we married, we spent the next 20+ years traveling all over the world as a member of the Air Force to include Japan, Hawaii, and Germany. When we came to our final station at Shaw AFB in Sumter SC before retirement, we immediately came to the beach to catch up on old memories. By this time we had 5 children and we wanted a place where we could bring the kids to the enjoy the beach. After searching many condos, we fell in love with the Caravelle Resort the moment we came upon the grounds. This was the one. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we love visiting here ourselves.

Why they chose this property

The Caravelle offers so much for family members of all ages. It's close to the thick of things that Myrtle Beach has to offer without being to close to the downtown traffic and "rowdy" crowds. The Caravelle is the best family vacation place and thus was an easy choice when we decided to buy.

What makes this property unique

The views from the balcony and our favorite spot to sleep (the Murphy Bed) in the living room area so we can listen to the ocean all night long is absolutely our favorite part of our condo. Of course the kids LOVE the swimming pool areas, lazy river and swimming/walking the beach looking for shells.
