King size Master bed with MyPillow Topper. Upstairs bedrooms are twin and Queen beds with ample closeting throughout. Upstairs bath has shower over tub. All spaces in upstairs, stairway and Master bedroom are carpeted. Custom European Oak flooring in Great Room. Custom tile floors in bathrooms and entry hallway. Two car attached garage. There is also a separate stairway leading from inside garage to a 300 sq ft bedroom and bathroom built over the garage, which can accommodate three people plus portable crib or air bed . This space is NOT a separate rental unit and is the fourth bedroom. This bonus space is not air conditioned or heated, but in Summer, it should not matter as it has a large window and a ceiling fan. We are on Township sewer line. Our water is from our own well. Hot water is gas fired, 40 gallon tank. Heat is forced hot air. Central A/C in main house.

About the host

Hosted by Greg Chapman

Host profile image
We have owned property in Leland for 20 years. Now in Kentucky, we enjoy getting away from the heat and humidity of Louisville in Summer. We take full advantage of boating, fishing, hiking, Pickleball, golf and winery touring. Our location just a five minute walk to the beach is wonderful.

Why they chose this property

Why Leland? I've never been anywhere that offers so much variety, all year 'round. It is unique. We first saw Leelanau County in 1997 on a family camping trip. After a while, we bought our first home here in the dead of winter. You can't be bored here, even in winter (Snow and Wineries make things interesting). Our "in town" location just pulls us out of the house to go walking everywhere. We enjoy an abundance of wildlife in our back yard. Deer, turkeys, fox, black and grey squirrels, birds, bobcats.

What makes this property unique

Our home is custom built and is a very short walk to beaches and Fishtown. The open floor plan is great for entertaining. The furniture and bedding are very comfortable and the house is great for relaxing, cooking and enjoying family and friends.
