The stone cottage is located in the middle of the Chianti hills between olive trees and woods. Unique rental property. altitude about 600 meters. 800 meters from the medieval village of Montegonzi. Unique rental property. The house and entrance are independent from the large adjoining farmhouse (inhabited by my mother, father and me). Gardens, terrace, changing barbecue, patio for exclusive use. Non-infinity pool 8.5 x 6.5. Height 150 cm. Free covered parking 7 meters from the country house. Distance from Gaiole in Chianti 15 km. Distance from Radda in Chianti 25 km. The country house is located in an excellent position to visit Chianti, Val d'Orcia, Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia. SWIMMING POOL OPEN FROM 01/05/2022 TO 15/10/2022 (weather permitting).

Great hospitality, property, and accommodations

Silvia and family were more than accommodating,they treated us like family. Silvia treated as to a behind-the-scenes hiking tour of Montagonzi the local historic castle/town, the olive Orchards and the grape Vines on their property. The beautiful apartment with historic feel and modern amenities has a spectacular view of the countryside from the bedroom as well as the fully appointed kitchen. We were more than happy with our stay and we'd love to go back and spend more time. Thank you Silvia Anna and Franco

Amazing

Words can't can't describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Anna became one our family and ours hers. She brought a doctor to the unit so I was able to get a needed prescription. She stopped by daily to say hi and we learned to use translate to communicate which was lots of fun. The grounds offer plenty of privacy. Sienna is not far and Multapulciano

Fantastico!

The villa was fantastic and the hosts were lovely. Silvia, Anna & Franco looked after us like we were part of the family and in particular our son. The house itself had everything you could think of and was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area of Tuscany. The villa was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The facilities were even better than described in the advert. We had an amazing two weeks in Italy and absolutely would come back to this area and stay at the villa again if we get the chance in the future. The local restaurant, Osteria di Montegonzi, served lovely food and the views from the terrace are exceptional. They really looked after us and the food was so tasty. We really enjoyed trips to Siena and the villages in the Chianti region. We also visited Florence via the train and even managed a trip to the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Thank you again Silvia, Anna & Franco and also for all the little treats; the fig chutney was amazing!

Treasure in the olive grove.

We spent wonderful two weeks starting at the 21st of October 2023. The house was immaculate and everything very well in order. It is safely located on a wonderful premises in the middle of lots of olive trees with a great view to the opposite hillside of this Tuscan landscape. The host’s mother was welcoming us in an absolutely friendly way and showed us around. Due to our delay, the host herself had to leave before, but it was absolutely charming instead. The house is fully equipped and has everything that is needed to prepare own meals, using the dishwasher as well as washing laundry. We didn’t miss anything and slept wonderful in this peaceful area. We want to thank the hosts for a great vacation at this special place, where we very soon felt at home and where we would return again some other time soon! S. + C. from Hamburg

Besser gehts nicht!

Das ist ein Ferienhaus wie man es besser nicht finden kann!Wir haben das Haus sofort gefunden und wurden von Anna begrüßt wie alte Freunde!Das Haus ist perfekt von der Lage.Traumhaft ruhig und mit einem unglaublichen Weitblick von der Terrasse.Alles ist sehr gepflegt und eben das,was man sich in der Toskana wünscht.Silvia ist eine unglaublich herzliche Person und trotz der Sprachbarriere hatte man gleich ein freundliches Gespräch.Die Hunde auf dem Grundstück sind so freundlich wie die Vermieterin.Doch nun zu dem Haus:wir haben ein Paradies vorgefunden.Bei unserer Ankunft war alles vorbereitet und sehr sauber.Das ganze Haus ist unfassbar gepflegt und toll eingerichtet.Wir hatten ein Begrüßungspaket das keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat!Es gab Getränke,Kuchen,hausgemachte Marmelade,Milch,Wasser,Butter....einfach alles was man sich wünschen kann.Silvia gibt einem das Gefühl,das man total erwünscht ist-schon fast freundschaftlich!Der Pool war sauber und gepflegt wie das gesamte Grundstück.Unser Hund konnte überall laufen,da das Grundstück sicher eingezäunt ist.Die anderen Hunde waren kein Problem,im Gegenteil!Ein weiteres Glas von der leckeren Marmelade gab es einfach so von Silvia.Auch mit Ausflugszielen hat uns Silvia liebevoll versorgt,alles mit Mühe heraus gesucht.Ich wollte,ich könnte für alle Zweifler was negatives sagen,aber es gibt absolut nix zu bemängeln!Das ist das beste Haus das wir seit langem hatten!Danke für eine wunderschöne Woche in einem perfekten Haus!!!

Traumurlaub im Traumlage

Der Urlaub bei Silvia und ihrer Mutter Anna war perfekt. Die Lage des Hauses mitten in den Olivenhainen ist wunderschön, perfekt für alle die absolute Ruhe und Entspannung suchen . Der Empfang von Silvia war super herzlich , uns wurde alles genau erklärt und gezeigt . Es gab sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten zum Essen aus dem kleinen Garten und leckeren Wein . Silvia hat uns immer mit tollen Informationen über die Umgebung versorgt und Anna mit frischen Tomaten und Salat aus ihrem Garten. Das ganze Anwesen ist riesengroß mit 2 Terrassen und einem wunderschöner Garten mit Pool . Wir sind zu dritt gereist und hatten jede Menge Platz . Montegonzi ist klein und zauberhaft mit einem tollen Osteria . Alle großen Städte sind in ca 1 Stunde mit dem Auto zu erreichen , auch hier haben wir wertvolle Tips von Silvia erhalten . Wir waren wirklich traurig als unser Urlaub vorbei war , und danken Silvia und Anna nochmals für Ihre herzliche Art, am Ende war es wie Urlaub bei Freunden .

Ein Kleinod in mitten von einem Olivenhain

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Neben der liebevollen Einrichtung ist das Haus komplett ausgestattet und nette Kleinigkeiten für den ersten Tag, wie Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Saft und Wasser standen zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Aussicht von der Überdachten Terrasse ins Tal ist sehr schön und der Pool, den wir immer allein nutzen konnten lädt zu einer Abkühlung ein. Silvia und Anna kümmern sich freundlich, zurückhaltend und hilfsbereit, damit es für einen eine unbeschwerte Zeit wird. Wir haben die Zeit bei Ihnen sehr genossen.

Sehr erholsame Tage bei Silvia und Anna

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage, auch wenn das Wetter nicht mitgespielt hat. Silvia und Anna haben sich wunderbar gekümmert, der Garten ist toll und war nur für uns! Der Pool war wetterbedingt nicht nutzbar (täglich Gewitter). Aber für erholsame Tage eine herrliche Unterkunft!

Wonderful stay in the Italian countryside

The property was beautiful and made a great home base for our stay in Tuscany. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, the place was clean and neat, and you can’t beat the view. Silvia was very friendly and helpful, and we just had the best time staying there. Grazie mille!

Traumhaft!

Das Ferienhaus ist gut eingerichtet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Auch Gewürze, Essig und Öl waren vorhanden. Das Außengelände ist wirklich traumhaft. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass der Swimmingpool nur für uns zur Verfügung stand. Es gibt viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten auf dem großen Gelände. Man kann sich richtig gut erholen. Silvia und ihre Mutter sind sehr gute Gastgeberinnen, die bei Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung stehen, sich aber diskret im Hintergrund halten. Sie haben uns regelmäßig mit frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten versorgt. Die fruchtigen Tomaten waren unglaublich lecker. Zur Begrüßung hatte Silvia Essen und Trinken ins Haus gestellt, so dass man nicht sofort einkaufen fahren musste. Unser Auto konnten wir auf dem Gelände auf einem schattigen Platz abstellen. Das war auch sehr gut.

Erwartungen übertroffen, wir wären gerne geblieben

Die Unterkunft und das Anwesen waren noch besser als erwartet. Absolut sauber, abgeschlossenes Grundstück, so das Kinder und Hund nicht raus konnten und die Wildschweine (neues Familienhobby diese abends durch den Zaun beobachten zu können) nicht rein. Der aufgestellte Pool ist groß und bei Wegnahme der Treppe kann das Nichtschwimmerkind auch nicht unbemerkt rein. Es gibt viele tolle Plätze zum sitzen, chillen etc. Rundherum die wunderschöne toskanische Landschaft. Das Anwesen ist gut zu erreichen, die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto ca 10 Minuten entfernt. Ein Auto ist zwingend erforderlich, wenn Besichtigungen nach Florenz, Siena etc unternommen unternommen werden wollen (ca 1Std stressfreie Fahrt entfernt). Wir mussten uns dazu aufraffen, da das Anwesen dazu verführt vor Ort zu bleiben. Die beiden Hausherrinnen Silvia und Anna sind toll und kinderfreundlich. Sie kümmern sich um alles, sind jederzeit Ansprechpartner, halten sich aber diskret zurück, so das wir wirklich einen ungezwungen Urlaub genossen haben. Unsere Kinder haben beim Abschied geweint. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, ein Grundstock Gewürze, Spülmaschinenmittel und Waschmittel vorhanden. Klimaanlage vorhanden wenn man möchte. Toll war am ersten Tag auch das frische Obst und alles für ein Abendbrot bzw Frühstück, so muss man auch nicht direkt einkaufen. Wir haben für nächstes Jahr direkt wieder gebucht. Wer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe sucht wird perfekt bedient. Silvia und Anna sind toll und behandeln uns Gäste wie Familienmitglieder.

Traumurlaub garantiert

Wir waren zu zweit, aber auch 4 Personen haben ausreichend Platz im Haus. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft. Das Grundstück ist wirklich traumhaft schön und die beiden Damen, Silvia und Anna, geben sich große Mühe, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Es gibt auch 2 Hunde, die ganz lieb sind und niemals aufdringlich. Alles in allem können wir diese Location zu 100 % weiterempfehlen!

Wunderschönen Urlaub im Chianti-Gebiet

Mein Mann und ich hatten 2 1/2 wunderschöne Wochen bei Silvia, Anna und der Familie verbracht. Die Familie ist total gastfreundlich und sehr nett. Das Haus hat jeglichen Komfort, wie beschrieben. Den Pool konnten wir wetterbedingt nicht benutzen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen und haben uns richtig zuhause gefühlt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Una settimana da sogno

Insieme a mio marito e miei due figli di 4 e 1,5 anni abbiamo soggiornato presso la Capanna di Arsoli la prima settimana di agosto. Vedendo le foto e le descrizioni avevamo alte aspettative, le quali sono state altamente superate nel nostro soggiorno. La casa ha un fascino ineguagliabile, il giardino, le piante, l’orto, la piscina, e tutte le altre aree all’aperto sono gestite con cura e soprattutto con grande amore dai proprietari di casa. Silvia e i suoi genitori ci hanno fatto sentire a casa... e anche i loro cani, ai quali normalmente non avrei fatto avvicinare i miei bambini, si sono prestati con una pazienza infinita alle loro piccole angherie. La casa, immersa nel verde e nel silenzio, dista pochi minuti dal centro abitato, ma soprattutto è un ottimo punto di partenza per conoscere il Valdarno, il Chianti, le città d’arte e i freschi boschi circostanti. La Capanna di Arsoli è un’ottima soluzione sia per coppie romantiche che per famiglie con i bambini. La casa, sita a 600 mt di altitudine, è dotata di ogni comfort e appena ristrutturata con materiali di altissima qualità e buon gusto. L’igiene è ineccepibile. Lovely location and lovely owners

This is the perfect place to stay for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The accommodation is first class and the setting is in a beautiful part of Tuscany. The owners are a lovely family and Silvia, Anna and Franco are all helpful, friendly and generous with their time. We had a wonderful and peaceful holiday, as we did last year too. Definitely a place you will keep wanting to return to.

Erholsamer Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wir ( Familie mit 2 Jugendlichen) haben bei Silvia und ihren Eltern eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche verbracht. Die Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich, liest einem jeden Wunsch vo den Lippen ab. Anna hat unsere Tochter sogar zum Reiten begleitet. Die Wohnung ist eine umgebaute Scheune, die hochmodern und mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet ist. Sie gehört zu einem alten toskanischen Steinhaus aus dem Jahre 1900. Es gibt sehr viel individuellen Platz auf der Anlage. Das Haus ist für 4 Personen vollkommen ausreichend. Ausflüge nach Siena, Florenz und ins Chiantigebiet sind problemlos möglich. Danach haben wir uns wieder auf die Ruhe im Feriendomizil gefreut. Auf diesem Weg noch einmal vielen Dank an Anna und Silvia.

La Capanna Di Arsoli - the ideal place to spend time in beautiful Tuscany

Silvia, the owner, and her family are the kindest and friendliest hosts you will ever meet. The accommodation is a beautifully renovated barn, done to the very highest standards. The location is off the beaten track and offers a quiet and tranquil environment in which to spend a relaxing holiday. The views are lovely and there are plenty of restaurants within a short drive where you can enjoy the local Italian cuisine. I am a lover of author cinema (Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Bernardo Bertolucci, Vittorio de Sica, Michelangelo Antonioni, Luchino Visconti, Paolo Sorrentino, Alfred hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Ferzan Ozpetek, Gus Van Sant, the Coen brothers, Lars von Trieer, David Fincher, Sean Penn, Sofia Coppola Terrence Malik etc.
I love animals, reading, dancing, playing sports, trekking, traveling. I volunteer at ENPA (national animal protection organization) and at ANDOS (women operated on breast cancer). I like good food and good wine especially in company. But I also love craft beer. I love making jams and desserts. I like seventies music (Rolling Stones, The Doors, Queen, The Cure, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, The Police). MY MOTTO is: CARPE DIEM. Graduated from classical high school. From 4 to 20 years I did artistic gymnastics at national and international level.

Why they chose this property

After 20 years as an accountant and payroll manager in an office, I decided to make a change in my life. I renovated the former typical Tuscan barn of Arsoli (belonging to my tris - grandfather, together with my family, and I started a new adventure. Arsoli allows me to stay in close contact with nature, away from the confusion of the city, but in 4/10 minutes by car I have all the comforts at hand, I love this job because it allows me to meet people from all over Europe and beyond, I am happy to be able to share a piece of my life with my guests and of their life, with the hope that they will have a good memory of me and my family. Moreover I started to study English, which I still do not speak very well, but I am happy to learn it slowly, slowly as it gives me new stimuli.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with Arsoli and the medieval village of Montegonzi around the age of 35. (although I spent all my childhood, in summer, with my grandparents and my friends and having so many beautiful memories). Being far from the confusion of the city and living in harmony with nature is priceless. Feel the song of the birds just awake and the chirping of cicadas in the summer. See fallow deer, hares, foxes, hawks early in the morning, in the summer, when I walk with my faithful four-legged friend named Carlotta among the olive trees, the vineyards and the woods. Of course, I'm not a hermit, I like social life. Arsoli is a magical place inhabited in late Roman times and is still inhabited. Not by chance, even in its simplicity, the farmhouse of Arsoli and its Capanna are part of the historic buildings of the province of Arezzo. But don't expect a resort, here we are in the countryside, but don't worry you will have all the comforts.
