Our stay at Bill’s was exceptional. Super cozy and amazing views of the river. Bill went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable even down to making us a campfire every morning. Perfect place to stay on the Kenai!
Really quaint cabin and the views off the back porch were amazing and quite relaxing to wake up to. The owners were very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend staying there, and will probably go back another time. If you're looking for place with great people, pretty scenery and fishing access to a river, hit Bill up!

Thank you Luis. Enjoyed hosting your family. Please come see us again thank you for your service!
What a fantastic cabin! Great location on the Kenai River! It was nice to sit down to a bon-fire following a busy day of adventures. Not having a was nice to break to just enjoy nature! Definitely will plan into our next AK travels.
My son and I enjoyed staying in this cabin on the beautiful Kenai river and the friendliness of Capt. Bill and his friend Kenneth who is helping out this summer. Hope to return someday for more fishing, hiking, and adventures.
Excellent trip. Great location on the Kenai river. Owner and wife extremely helpful. Will rebook if we return to the area. The river was up due to the glacial flooding so fishing the middle Kenai was out for us; however when flow is normal you can catch salmon in front of your cabin. Also, the location in Sterling is ideal for fishing the entire peninsula.
My husband and I stayed here on a short trip. Bill and his wife were beyond accommodating. They were friendly, and took a significant amount of time to sit with us around the fire and chat. We enjoyed the fires they started for us daily. They offered advice on things for us to do, and let us use some of their fishing equipment. The resort is clean with a very large fishing area - definitely larger than other resorts we’ve stayed at. The resort is set very close to the water and the views of the river are amazing. The cabins are a perfect size and we could have fit 3 more people at least. This was our 5th visit to the Sterling area and our favorite place we have stayed so far. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I have stayed in a lot of "fishing resorts". This resort is hands down the best we have experienced. From the first greeting to preparing for departure, everything is handled with class. Book early! The view is spectacular and the owners and staff are top notch! Thank you for all of your assistance with our stay-we loved it! Tim and Pam Hayden
The venue (lodging) and scenery only exceeded by the hospitality we received staying at Bill's property.
Bill went above and beyond to make our visit and experience one of a kind. Planning our return already. Would recommend HIGHLY.
We stayed here while road tripping in Alaska. This was a convenient location for Seward and Homer. Clean cabin and super friendly and helpful host. Would def stay here again.
This is my sixth trip to Alaska, and I DIY my fishing on the Kenai River, so what I need is a place that is comfortable with a full size kitchen. This place did not disappoint! Clean, with room to move around. Three adult men. A very nice gas grill on the deck with view of the river. Bill has a commercial grade vacuum packer with big freezers, so all fish were packaged and frozen for our return to the lower 48. Awesome people that were very accomodating.
This is our second time staying at Bills and we love it. The location on the river is quiet and private and the cabins are spacious with amazing views!
Bill is a great host and he sets you up with fishing poles. The decks are awesome and we definitely recommend this to anyone. We will be back!!!

Great spot on the river
We spent two nights at Bills cabin. It is in the perfect location for fishing on the Kenai and is close to a boat launch as well. The cabin is well appointed but only has single beds. The parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle. Bill is very friendly and accommodating.

ok
The owners were nice and the cabin was nice and clean, right on the river with good scenery. Just a few things to be aware of though...We were unable to fish the river in front of cabin, which was a huge disappointment for us. Homer was a good hour away, Seward also an hour and Anchorage over 2 hours. There is not a lot to offer nearby. There is no TV or radio in the cabin. The owners offered to clean and package our fish, which was awesome, but never told us that there would be a charge for this service. You can buy a box for your fish cheaper nearby and some captains will package your fish as part of your fishing excursion. There is a laundry mat and gas station nearby which was handy. The beds in cabin 3 - main bedroom are terrible! The neighbors were very loud late into the night over the weekend. I myself would not choose to stay in this area again, not because of the cabin but too far to travel to anything.

We appreciate feedback from our clients. We really do care and want you to have the best experience in Alaska available. I am not sure why you were unable to fish but there are reviews behind yours that highlight the fishing from our frontage. Salmon are only semi predictable but the fish ability from our location has a history of being first class. A person does have to achieve a certain level of competence at it. A guide trip makes is easy on the beginner which is what I recommend first timers so they can get a lesson on the ways to fish the Kenai. As for fish processing, to clean trim and commercial vacuumed seal there is cost. We provide this as a service on location. Clients have the option to go to town and pay 40% premium plus charge for freezing. We are sorry you thought this was at no charge. First time that’s happened in 20 years. Our location is touted and central on the Kenai Peninsula as you stated just over and hour to Seward and the same for Homer. Most people on the Kenai see this a a benefit. I have been asked to put TV in the cabins before, we just won’t do that, it’s Alaska. If we have clients in the camp that have concerns, questions or problems we can asssit with we want to know. Thank you
