I am interested in the history of the Bitterroot Valley, particularly the Lewis and Clark Trail as well as the Trail of the Nez Perce.

Why they chose this property

Rye Creek is a very private, quiet property. You will feel as if you are staying in a log cabin in the middle of the wilderness though we are only a mile off of a paved road. Ponderosa Cabin is exceptionally well appointed. You are not roughing it here....

What makes this property unique

In a word, Wildlife. We have resident herds of elk and deer that call Rye Creek home. All of the activities that you would expect to find in Montana are available. White water rafting, fishing, hiking, ATV rides, Snowmobile rides, etc.
