The cottage was comfortable and spacious but above all peaceful
We were all very comfortable. We had misgivings about storage heaters but found them more than adequate as a means to keeping the cottage warm. However despite it being the end of September the weather was warm. The only exception was the bathroom which tended to be chilly. The kitchen was nice - modern and functional. Having a year old baby it might have helped to have a washing machine, though staying only five nights we managed.
The only disappointment was the shower. Because the water pressure is so low the water barely dribbled out! So better bathroom facilities would be a significant improvement.
Parracombe is a great place to stay in terms of accessing costal villages on the north coast as well as Barnstable.
Also the cottage is economically priced.
