"This is a large one bedroomed apartment looking out onto the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo. This is a sunny and prime location, absolute beachfront, but with easy walking distance to the centre and harbour with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes etc., unfortunately there is now a lot of building work going on in this once small and pretty fishing village, but hey, they say that is progress. Whether for the best remains to be seen! However, ongoing works did not unduly disturb us in this beach...

"This property is a great option for visiting the north and centre of the island. If you're considering it then presumably you've already decided you don't want to stay in the horrors that are Corralejo or Calete de Fuste and this place just outside Lajares is ideal. El Cotillo and the incredible dunes south of Corralejo are a short drive away and the various museums in the centre of the island as well as the lovely town of Betancuria are less than an hour. "Fantastic, tranquil, location nestled in the outskirts of Lajares. House built in traditional stone and has a nice, laid back decor and ambience. Garden is well maintained and adds to the rustic ambience. "

"Villa is in a great location, very spacious and a lovely relaxing pool area. The property is 5 minutes to the shopping area of the Campanario and then a further 10 mins to the start of the main 'strip'. Taxis are very cheap if you don't want to walk. The closest beach is around 5-10 minutes walk (depending on the speed), but very close regardless. Communication with the host was excellent and check in was smooth and faultless. "Great customer service, awesome house and garden. Quite location in a peaceful residential area a short, pleasant walk to bars and restaurants. The bars and restaurants are not obvious unless you look for them. They are on the way to the volcano walk. All in all a great place to stay."
