About the host
Hosted by Michelle Murphy and Mark Murphy
We are a family of 7 and love walking endlessly along the beaches and coastal paths which are plentiful and easy finds. The North coastal trail is a favorite walk of ours. The nearest beach is Porthtowan and at low tide is one and a half miled of soft golden sand. The Blue Bar sits on the beach as does the Unicorn and is appreciated after a summers day on the beach or a winters walk across the coastal paths. Truro itself houses a beautiful cathedral heaped in history and is stunningly lit in the evening which is one of our idyllic places to eat in the evening. We love the wateringhole at Perranporth and enjoy taking our dog for a lovely walk and ending up back in the bar for a hot chocolate on chillier days and something to eat. St Agnes Portreath and Chapelporth are sandy coves and tipped with history of the fishing and mining life. You can grab an icecream on those summer days or sit by the logburners on a winters evening, loving every moment whatever the season.
