The property is well located at the centre of great and varied walking in the Sioule valley. It really is in a quiet rural location. Yet it is quite handy to the towns of Ebreuil and Gannat for routine shopping. The property is well equipped and comfortable. A great place to stay!

We had a perfect stay. Beautiful location and the peace and quietness was amazing. The house was perfectly equipped, nothing was missing and everything worked. The house was light and the bed was very comfortable. The garden offers complete privacy with sheeps in the garden of the neighbour. Good private parking spot next to the house. Good bakery on 7 minute drive. The host (Wilfred) was very friendly. We highly recommmend to rent this house and would love to come back.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr hübsch und hat eine tolle Lage in den Bergen.Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war gut.Allerdings sind wir nicht ganz zufrieden. Uns wurde gesagt, dass wir das Haus lediglich mit dem Kamin beheizen sollten. Dafür bekamen wir anfangs zu wenig, im Verlauf dann ausreichend Holz. Aufgrund der niedrigen Temperaturen hatten wir morhens nur 12 Grad im Haus. Zudem hieß es am dritten Tag, dass es auch eine Fußbodenheizubg gäbe, diese aber aufgrund der hohen Energiekosten nicht eingeschaltet worden sei. Ich hätte mir hier gewünscht, dass die Gastgeber, angepaßt ans Wetter, diese selbstverständlich von Beginn an angeschaltet hätten. Das wurde uns leider erst zwei Tage vor Abreise angeboten.Ebenfalls unzufrieden stimmt uns, dass wir für den Hund im Nachhinein noch 20 Euro bezahlen sollte. Eigentlich kein Problem, aber es sollte meiner Meinung nach in der Beschreibung des Ferienhauses benannt werden.Alles in Allem ein schöner Aufenthalt mit einem dennoch faden Beigeschmack.

Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil Wilfred, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans votre gîte. Le gîte est très confortable, authentique et magnifiquement rénové. L’environnement est très reposant, nous avons apprécié découvrir la région avec des endroits parfois très fréquentés et retrouver ce cocon si apaisant. L’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte sont à l’image du gîte: excellents! :) N’hésitez pas une seconde!

Magnifique endroit pour se ressourcer

La maison, belle et accueillante, la terrasse entourée de fleurs, l'immense jardin, la nature et le calme tout autour, les grands arbres de la forêt en face, les trois moutons dans le pré à côté, le bruissement des insectes et le chant des oiseaux, de jolies balades dans le coin et des vaches plutôt curieuses, la proximité des volcans d'Auvergne, j'ai passé un excellent séjour aux Garriaux!

endroit magnifique ! on y croise la faune locale, dès le jardin. calme , tranquilité , dans un gite tout confort. l'acceuil est chaleureux. lieu paisible ! Vivement conseillé pour ceux qui veulent simplement déconnecter , avec pour seul perturbation , le chant des oiseaux !

Agréable semaine au vert

Super séjour a Marcillat. Nous cherchions un petit coin tranquille pour faire decouvrir un peu de nature a notre fille. C'était parfait. Le petit gite est très bien équipé, très propre, et bien au calme. La terrasse et le jardin clôturé permettent de profiter un maximum de l'extérieur.

Sérénité et calme: double repos en Auvergne
