Ideally located in a quiet corner of Aldeburgh, this pet-friendly ground floor apartment is only a stone's throw away from the beach and enjoys views across the marshes. Situated within easy reach from the town centre, Lower Saltings offers two bedrooms, a comfortable sitting room with a large bay window, a well furnished kitchen as well as a pretty enclosed garden area with patio decking. The decking often offers beautiful sunset views - an ideal place for al fresco dining.

Good Base for exploring Aldeburgh

The property was excellent and well equipped. Situation excellent for exploring Aldeburgh and the local area. Lovely sunny patio. Excellent walks from the cottage along the river.

Great that you were able to enjoy some walks from the cottage along the river. The views are rather splendid and if you are lucky you can even see some of the rare birds. Very Damp Bedroom

Very disappointed with the second bedroom as there were substantial places on the walls that were damp. Paint and plaster were blistered and peeling off the wall and the bedding felt damp. The manager was contacted immediately and someone came to view the damp patches. Alternative accommodation was not offered and it was impossible to treat the damp with us sleeping in the room. We had to move one of the single beds away from the damp wall in order to sleep. I don’t think this property should be available to rent until the damp is fixed . This is the first time I have used Homeaway but I am not sure I would use them again as I have not yet been offered any recompense by Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages who manage the property.
