About this property

Just a short stroll into the centre of the village and the beach, whilst in a position off the main cliff road overlooking the sea.

The villa offers three bedrooms, all doubles but can be made into singles if you need. The 2 downstairs bedrooms share a new fitted bathroom with shower and toilet and both bedrooms have access to the outside pool area.

Up the winding staircase you will find the Master bedroom with a double bed and newly fitted ensuite. The Master bedroom also boasts a roof terrace with seating area offering stunning views of the sea and surrounding areas.

The dining/living room area is bright and spacious and the kitchen is modern and fully fitted. Doors from the lounge/dining area lead to the inner patio which has a seating and BBQ area. There is also a large 4x8 pool which can be heated for an additional fee of 160€.

The house is fully gated and alarmed and offers air con in all rooms.

Our holiday

This is a lovely villa in a nice part of Carvoeiro. It has easy access to the beach, the town and the restaurants without being disturbed by any of them!

Lovely property, well presented and situated.

Lovely villa, very well presented and equipped. No meet or greet, which we found unusual and no welcome package of local bread/olives/wine/water starter package considering we arrived early evening, again not what we have previously experienced. Details for property arrived on day 3 of our arrival. TV did not work; not great at the height of Wimbledon and an historic World Cup Cricket Match. Local bar came up trumps. Carvoeiro a vibrant town. We relied on Uber for trips to Lagos / Faro which was very smooth. We had a really lovely holiday and would recommend the destination to friends.

Perfect Stay in Carvoeiro!

Overall - this place was amazing and we would buy it if it was for sale. Such a great place. The layout was nice with the Master bedroom upstairs and a deck off the back of the room. We left the windows open at night and did not need air conditioning which is strange for us. being from NY. We played games on the upper deck at night with the kids while the sun went down. Each kid had their own bedroom with a queen bed leading out to the pool and a bathroom to share. The living room / dining room table was very nice but with the weather so gorgeous, we spent all of our time outside at the pool. They have an updated set of furniture that's not in the current pictures. Coffee in the morning was great outside. The hosts had almost everything that you'd need upon arriving which made it easy as well as a nice welcome bottle of champagne. Some of the things: are coffee filters, coffee, ice, soap, paper towels, etc. It was an easy walk to get things at the supermarket. The walking distance to town was so easy. The top restaurants and supermarket were about 5 min walk. Their recommendations for food were amazing as we ate at most of them...Earth (very good breakfast/lunch), The Wolf (cool decor and great food), Villa Medici (great spot and great food). There is a washer and dryer (which are located outside) so it was difficult to find but such a great asset especially since our luggage was lost and we had to wash clothes a lot. Ultimately, it was the comforts of home that made this feel like home. Family pictures on the wall, great artwork, beautiful furniture with well-thought-out throw pillows and accents. A vast library for summer reading with multiple language options. We were sad to leave but hope to return again in the future. We've always loved Carvoeiro and now we love the Casa Birgitta as well.

Privacidade

Não acho que seja normal entrar pessoas na moradia, sem que exista um aviso prévio aos hospedes, durante a estadia entrou várias pessoas ( limpar piscina, jardinagem) na propriedade, sem qualquer aviso, acho que no mínimo deveriam tocar a campainha, entram na propriedade nem bom dia dizem, não se apresentam.
