Lagoa villas

Lovely stay in Carvoeiro in the Clube Golfemar. Apartment was great and exceeded all expectations. Location was brilliant, very close to Vale de Centianes , carvalho (my favourite) and Benegil. Is a 5 min drive into Carvoeiro town, and is close to the Rocha Brava resort. The pool in the lighthouse is great, and better than most I’ve been at. There is a charge for sun loungers of 5 per adult, but that keeps it nice and calm. Food was great there too. The apartment itself is beautiful and homely. Has a great garden and sun roof terrace. The kitchen is nice and big with everything you need. The bedrooms are a good size with air con in all of them. Parking is right beside it, and i’d definitely recommend a car. However, Uber’s are cheap in Portugal, so you could manage without one. Would come back to this apartment without a second’s thought

The villa was fantastic - swimming pool and garden are kept in tip top condition, you have the feeling of beingout in the country. It is very convenient for walking into Carvoeiro and cliff top walks and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Would highly recommend a holiday here.

We felt at home immediately in this lovely villa. It's comfy, clean, well equipped and in a great spot - quiet but close enough to beaches and restaurants. The pool area is great - all day sunshine but plenty of shade if needed. Marinha and Benagil beaches are walkable from the villa but you'll need a car to go further afield. We really liked Praia de Caneiros in Ferragudo and Alemao in Portimao. Both had sunbeds/shades for hire and cafes/restaurants. Carvoeiro is a ten minute drive and has great bars/restaurants - loads of choice! We also went to Benagil a couple of evenings and really liked O Literal and O Algar. O Stop at Centeanes is a fantastic spot right by the beach. If wanting to do a cave tour by boat we recommend using Get Your Guide to book them. We did one from Portimao with Atlantis Tours - better value than booking at Benagil beach.

We had a wonderful holiday, villa superb & well finished with all amenities. Pool & terrace area had sun for the whole day. Location set in vineyard was idyllic. Highly recommend.

The pictures don't really do it justice. It's an amazing villa with absolutely everything you could possibly need. We were staying with our sons, 8 and 11 and they absolutely loved the pool and then being able to sit inside out of the heat in the midday and play some games. The space worked perfectly for us to the extent that we barely ever left. My kids hate beaches and being dragged around towns, so was perfect.

We had an amazing stay in this villa. Such a gorgeous setting with wonderful views of the countryside and so quiet. Within walking distance of town centre and beaches and lovely cliff top walks. The villa is clean and modern with comfortable beds and furniture. Bathrooms both modern and clean. Th gardens and pool area are absolutely stunning. We are keen gardeners ourselves and it was such a treat sitting and relaxing and enjoying the flowers and plants. Thanks Katy and Paul for letting us stay. Communication has been excellent. I hope we can stay again soon.

We had an excellent holiday in the Algarve staying at this property. Owner Karl-Heinze provided us with all the information required to ensure a smooth and effortless check-in. Property manager Jessica guided us into the property and was available to sort out any issues very quickly and efficiently. The Villa is well maintained and has all the amenities including wifi to ensure a comfortable stay. The cats Adi and Stocksel kept the children entertained. A bottle of wine with crisps on arrival was very thoughtful. We were very happy with our stay and holiday - would certainly recommend to other travellers .
